Oh sweethearts, this saddens me so much. I look at Tazlure and I remember. I remember Eilish being the same person in real life as she was here as our NPC, blond and hopping and sometimes very wicked. I remember Anochrim, slowly growing a beer belly and never quite admitting to what we showed on the...

GD Announcement: The Fate of Tazlure!

Dear players, You have all read about Tazlure's Crisis . To briefly recapitulate we have dealt with a problem of a declining staff, as well as apparent structural problems for over 2,5 years, causing a general feeling of inertia and players not being moderated when they want to be. Repeatedly we hav...

That is all in the wiki of course. I refer to the Rules of Realism and of course The Tazure Game System . We also have data on our Game's Origins . It is also, and this is undefinable, a sense of atmosphere. Making further statements about what I want to see in a solution would limit the debate and ...

Thank you all for the kind words *hugs* I want to draw attention to the fact that just because Syra and I got mentioned a lot we are not by far the only GD's. In fact Meridiuz is the one who for the past year has carried the heaviest burden, one that has not been designed for one person only. There ...

Nobody likes any of the options. This is not about what we like. This about what is a viable long term solution . Thank you Fauna for reminding us Saying "I'll mod" is tempting but reality is that in the past we've had many of these offers and they appear to be temporary patches. Don't loo...

The Tazlure Crisis

As a gesture of trust to the entire community I am breaking normal protocol and address the entire community about a problem that we as staff have been unable to solve. For at least the last three years the game of Tazlure has been fighting a very important problem: a lack of resources. I don't mean...

Aah, Maeve, that is the most evil suggestion ever. I still wake shaking in the night recalling the time we took the kids around disneyland, Paris, and they insisted on going on the ride with THAT TUNE, time after time.... I was lucky. When I went to Disney last November with the kids the ride was c...

During my interactions in chat and this weekend with our Tazzies live event I have had a lot of people ask "So what is the update on Tazlure's Way Forward?" You have all seen the physical changes in the forums. Those are clear enough. It also means that in some areas mods are working toget...

God! AH! You want to be bonded to a sword that only thinks and sings the song of battle. Remember, its song isn’t like a fifth grade play for their parents. Its song is like a joyous chorus to some dark god of death and blood. It’s a chorus of valkyrie singing joyous revelations as they slaught...

OFFICIAL POLL: Do you Wiki?

Some of our community members have taken to it, while others are still shy. Do you use it? Do you even wikify? Or is something keeping you back?

Tazlure's Way Forward

The Gamedesigners have pondered matters at our site for the longest time. Despite our best intentions we have no choice but to conclude that activity and general "bounce" at the site have sharply declined. In part we consider this to be due to the fact a majority of GameDesigners have been...

Alternative for webchat

Several people have been having errors with webchat and today darkmyst.org told me that indeed it was offline and they are thinking out discontinuing it. However they do have an alternative called MIBBIT which I've installed for you now. I wish to call attention to the fact that at all times using M...

We've had more reports about this and dropped a line to the support of darkmyst.org. The problem seems to be on their end. It seems to effect webchat only. You can still get in using MIRC or Trillian.

OOC: Sorry for the wait The harbor of Roque D'Ancourt was well filled with ships. Several of them Elvira recognized as similar to her own, possibly running between this familiar city and Nether's Gate, that abode for the less legit business around the Mer. The docks were simple piers where the boat...

How comfortable it would perhaps have been to go back to sleep. Yet the time for that had passed and sleep refused to catch up again. There was just emptiness, silence. Yet that in turn promised so much else. The softly scratching of a mouse on the floor, the light of the sun playing on her face. In...
