These are the ancient days, when Dominicus still regularly walked among his people, and he was tolerant of the misguided ones who worshipped false idols.
10,000 yahren BD The Dragon Wars
Fleeing from the Seven Isles Dragons flooded Terra Incognita, marching upon the West. They were halted by the knights of Drakedoder, who founded Dragonkeep at the Canyon of the Howling Ice Mountains.
10,000-1,000 yahren BD The Western Kingdom
Slowly a kingdom emerged from the patchwork of smaller and bigger lords beyond the Howling Ice Mountains. On all sides they had both powerful allies and enemies, most notably the elven kingdom TAQ, the orcish tribes in the swamps and the gnomish and dwarven kingdoms in the mountains.
1,000 - 7000 yahren BDThe Crusades and the Western Kingdom.
The One Church pronounced its famous doctrine that Dominicus is the One and Only god, and the king is the head of the church. All heathens were slain by the famous Royal Temple Order of Paladins, the kings personal bodyguards. The knights of Dragonkeep, brethren of the Royal Paladins, were accused of heresy, but at their trial they redeemed themselves in the eyes of the king. Rumors of heresy beyond the Canyon can still be heard today.
During the Crusades the Western Kingdom did battle with all nations at her borders. This ended with the Eternal Alliance, a peace with the Elven kingdom TAQ whereby the king swore that he and all his heirs would marry elven princesses, this making the royal house half elven. This prompted the Gnomish tribe Khan and the Dwarven Kingdom Kaza Rhun to sign a peace treaty as well. If the Eternal Alliance would evern be broken, the Crusades would easily erupt again.
0 yahren The Revelations
A new highpoint in culture and science brought the Western Kingdom to a new level of civilization, unrivaled by other human counterparts. It is said it was Dominicus himself who instructed the Mages of Worlds Mouth in their quest for knowledge, which was called "The Revelations".

Recent History
1199 AD
Dark tidings from all over the western kingdom worry the king Dorian ye Melchior. He orders his Royal Paladins to start preparing for war, and sends out his men to find out what is happening at the border. Meanwhile the priests try to divinate what is going on, but do not get anything substantial, other than that the entire planet is threatened.
Duke Eisenreich, one of the largest vassels of the king advises him to go to war on the Orcish tribes, who of late have become a nuisance. Surely Dominicus is taking offense. The Cardinal and the Elvish Allies disagree, creating a stalemate.
1206 AD
Balthasar ye Dorian is born, the new crownprince. The king puts his favorite paladin in charge of the baby boy, his only heir.
1213 AD The Orcish Battle
The Cardinal,convinced of the heresy of Orcs, finally gives his approval and breaks the stalemate, agains the whishes of his Allies including his wife (who fear the damage to TAQ) Dorian declares war on the Orcs. The results are devastating. Dorian looses many troops and civilians. Thousands are led away in slavery. Meanwhile rumors come from Terra Incognita of a great spread of dark forces, the pit of evil. Daemons are loose on the world. The church gets a firm grip on society one again, erasing heresy where she sees it. The first rumors about the Pan heresy start to circulate.
1216 AD The Death of Dorian ye Melchior
The old king was slain during one of the latest battles against the Orces. Duke Eisenreich was appointed regent.
That same year a cease fire treary was signed with the Orcish tribes.
It is now the yahren 1224 AD

Tradetide, Kings Court ~ the Reception of the Pan Envoy
The reception in honor of the newly arrived Pan Envoy, the scarcely dressed wood elf Kris, is rudely disrupted by a group of assassins slaughtering nearly all visitors. A small group including the Envoy escapes and brings the young prince-king Balthasar to the safety of the Paladin Barracks. Just behind them the palace is closed for all outsiders as the place is turned inside out to find the killers.

Panlings shared a mystical experience. Their god called to them to join a secret mission involving the Royal Order of Paladins, and warned his children to beware of approaching doom.

The gates of the palace are opened again, normal life resuming again. No arrests where made concerning the assassination, though rumors in the city claim panlings made an attempt on the kings life.

Somewhere in the edge of Terra Incognita:
Radu and Eleni Vladimirescu escape from the Vladimirescu's Desert Fort, now controlled by Nebusala, a rival mage, after days of torture, thanks to the help of a loyal soldier.
Nebusala starts plotting the expansion of his evil domain through the desert.
Tel Arnae Quessir:
The fort of Ost Tel 'Arnor is overrun by an army of orcs. Swordmaster Theorn of the emerald guard is pressumed missing. The elven kingdom is at war with the orcishs tribes of Le Bois Noire.
Just about this date , the Emerald guard has accepted two new recruits. Saredana and Naira.
Terra Incognita, City of the People of the Sand
The People of the Sand prepare to hunt the dragon that has recently atacked their beloved City of Tents. The colourful note is that this time they add a pair of dwarves and a half giant to the hunt.

Eveningtide, Kings Court ~ the Kings Ball
In honor of the tour de champagne of His Royal Highness all citizens of King's Court were invited to this celebration. the Regent Duke Eisenreich, Edmund Everglow and other people of notice in The city gracely assisted the fastuous party.
During the Ball, The Prince Regent was seen allways followed nearly by the newly appointed guard Theodred, saviour of the Prince egent's life a few days ago. Several citizens were recruited to join the Royal Caravan.
During the Ball the King was handed an important message, which seem to point to military operations in the environment of Brie.

Farathorn, Apprentice of the Everglow Smithy, boards the "Manyana's Dream",set on course to Tel' Aranae Quessir. His intention, get enough mithril for the request by the Regent's men of various sets of mithril armour.
At the same time elsewhere in the city the King's Party goes en route to Brie, which includes a whole caravan of randomly selected citizens.

The Kings caravan has arrived just short of Brie and is putting up camp for the last time. Demetrion and Theodred are take into the confidence of the king.

A messenger from Tel Arnae Quessir arrived at the palace today. It was not long before rumors started circulating in Kings Court of the most devasting news that the fort Ost Tel 'Arnor had been overrun by Orcs and TAQ was officially at war with the orcish tribes. The elven queen has asked support from her long term allies in the Western Kingdom. Though military preparations were made all through summer nobody knew if the Regent would stand by the elves.
People talking on the streets reminded each other that orcish scout groups have been signalled frequently around Kings Court. Is the capital the next target? Would there be anybody left to defend the city?
With the prizes of food rising astronomically for the last month or so, hunger has started to set in. Together with the rumors of war this already has caused many people to leave Kings Court. Where to go, nobody knows. Bitterly the populace remembers the king was among the first to leave with a flimsy excuse and a nice goodby party.
It is no coincidence that this tradetide a food riot breaks out in the Avenue of Trade.

The mood in Kings Court is grim. Many people are packing their things. There is not a noble left in the city. Those that cannot leave have started hoarding all the essentials such as firewood and food. The black market has foodprizes rocketing.

For the first time in millenia, a Gate of Travel is used between Seven Isles and the Western Kingdom.
A motley group of elf, gnome, human and half-elven kind traverse the portal, travelling from the Seven Isles,carrying a message for the Western Kingdom. Unfortunately they find themselves attacked by forest savages that plague the forests near Brie.

The Than of Pirate's Duchy anounces that one of his Gems, the lady known as Jade, is missing, stolen.
He also organizes a hunting mission bound for the Empire of Seven Isles, after the thief, and request volunteers.
King's Court
The first refugees arrive from the North. The Orcish troops have invaded the border of the Western Kingdom, leaving a trail of destruction and death in their tail.

The Than of Pirate's Duchy sets sail with three ships in chase of the kidnapper of one of his Gems.

The Battle of Brie has ended in a victory for the town. The orcs defeated, the town now celebrates the victory with a festival.
Demetrion is charged by the king to go back to Kings Court. Something foul is afoot.
