Only the melÃ©e competition will be RPed. The basic structure is set out in the thread linked above.

Now, when you say "melee" is that including unarmed?

Also, are there any rules on armor?

This will be a melÃ©e weapon competition, using practice weapons and minimal armour. The first round will be a free-for-all, where combatants pick their own opponents. Anyone knocked down is disqualified, so that should eliminate approximately half the combatants. The second round will be similar to the first. The third and subsequent rounds, however, will be assigned pairings, until one man is left standing.

Good, old-fashioned mayhem. :twisted:

Ok, put me down for a 'reserved' sign up. I'm still not sure what is happening at the UoM, but I would like to watch over the tournament, if not take part. I'm not sure my physical combat skills are trained enough for this :wink:

Unless of course a certain lovely lady *cough* Twi *cough*, looks the other way when Asht throws a ball of fire?....... No? Didn't think so, hehe.

What's the body count up to? I know Adrian took out two, Farathorn got one, Ulder got at least one, Anochrim got one... if there is 30 men, the first round should end when 15 have been eliminated.

This will be interesting to say the least when the PC's finally start beating on one another. Adrian probably has the least experience out of the group, but has been taking his opponents out with single take downs while all the others have been swinging swords all day. Granted that he did one acrobatic roll, but the Caesar and Ulder are gonna be bloody tuckered compared to Adrian... now Farathorn is going to be the other wild card with the two-weapon fighting.

Adrian would have a better chance fighting Ulder or the Caesar (in his eyes) because of their use of one weapon and having swung it for so long before... unfortunately, he doesn't know Anochrim knows how to wrestle too...
