Her friends? He wondered whether this was a notion towards the now invisible spirits. He glanced around alertly, just in case.
Slightly wary, he was back to watching Celeste happily hopping onto the plate and beginning consumption. He was seemingly repulsed by the strange liquid inside the jar she opened, even more when she used it to dip the fish in.
Wonder what it tastes like? He asked himself, curious, but all the same losing his appetite.
He listened to her only half-heartedly, already wearing down as he stood there.
"I'm going to go and rest." He said, stifling a yawn. "It's been a day for me, you know."
