Vorador

Post by Vorador »

Vorador apparently is taken off guard, he has been trained well, but he is not yet a good match for a professional soldier. Vorador is thrown on the ground and pinned with a blade at his throat. However fear is not common within Vorador's viens. The arrogant elf does not seem scared but rather he chuckles, "Ultinu en lokirim, it seems your mind is blind cousin. Calling me a traitor..Bah! Explain to me on what accusations you call me a traitor? You have witnessed me performing acts against our kindred because if so..then go ahead..slit my throat...otherwise I suggest you get off me and let me pass..."

Vorador waits patiently for the guard's response, but before the man has time to speak, Vorador interrupts again, "remember cousin...with all the orcs attacking..you are going to need all the warriors you can get...killing me is not a wise choice...but if you are so foolish..then be my guest...but for your land...you need me..and you know it..."

Bahjek remembered his training during his short stay in the Assassins Guild and had tried his best to make it look like he needed no help. Though despite his efforts he knew how pitiful he looked to this guard. "Sir, I am of need of a place to stay. " Bahjek said slowly. Determined not to give in to the fatigue he continued, "You... You wouldn't ha... happen to know of somewhere, w... where I could find s... some work? If I can't find w... work then I mu... must move on." Bahjek said with great effort.

Well I didn't exactly lie. The part about needing a place to stay is true though I'm not sure if he would consider begging a job much less work. But may be I could try some kind of honest work. What on Tazlure am I thinking? It maybe worth a shot though. Bahjek thought.

OOC: by the way I have you pinned standing not laying on the ground.

IC: "You know cousin you are right about needing all the warriors that we can get. And arogance doesn't make a good warrior so I will do you a favor and pass you through the gates so that you can be on your way to the Emerald Guard. I wish I could be there when you arrive at the gates with your attitude."

With that said he releases the young elf and sheathes his sword. Then he takes a paper and writes his pass to the Emerald Guard.

"Here take this to the gates of the Emerald Guard and present it to the guard on duty there," he said as he handed him the pass.

"I wish you luck cousin because you will need it," he said sarcastically as he waved him through the gates.

The guard kept his hand on the hilt of his sword while talking to the wood elf. No one was without suspicion these days even a sad hungry wood elf.

Noticing his present state he wondered if the wood elf even had enough banners for one evening stay at the Inn.

"Are you sure you can afford an Inn?" he asked with concern in his voice.

The wood elf assured him that he was able but did need a job.

"Well you might get a room and maybe someone with a job might wonder in," the guard stated.

"About the job.. you really need to get out and find one. Don't just wait for one to find you." The guard was busy giving advice but could see that his health was falling even faster.

He blew a whistle and wrote the pass quickly and gave him quick directions to the Ithele Opele Inn. When the other guard appeared he gave orders for him to escort him to the Inn and to make sure that he pays for it.

He wave them through and then he called "Next!" like you always do.

Sidra walked into a clearing. She looked travel worn and a backpack was slung up over her shoulder. She looked like an elf, but had obviouse human heritage. Her hair was dark giving a deep contrast to her eyes and skin.
She stopped to look around and sighed. This place was so beautiful and something stired deep inside her.

Yorean was pleased to be back in Taloh Tel'Amrun. The city was as he remembered it. Nothing changes much in 24 years He said to himself.

He approaced the Emerald Guard with a strong sense of self assurance. He knew what he was doing was right and he hadn't felt this composed and confident in his life.

He bowed slightly to the guard and addressed him. "Honered Guard, I wish to join the Emerald Guard. Would you be good enough to direct me to where I need to go?"

Seeing the dark haired female elf approach the guard checked his sword and went to her.

"State your business here in the city?" he said gruffly.

OOC: Yorean Mur'khadid

IC: TIMESTAMP: SAMHEEN the 4th

"Quel' re cousin," replied the guard.

The guard bowed back at the elf and placed his hand on the hilt of his sword.

"Tell me cousin how you found your journey to these gates?" asked the guard.

"Was it eventful? Did you see any Orcs along your way?" he asked him.

"The journey was quite uneventful, altough I was very anxious to get here, I kept a close watch for any Orc activities. As far as I could tell, there wasn't any, but I am far from a skilled scout. I came from Cairbara and the guardsmen there warned me of the threat. Rumors there say that war is expected soon. I came to the descision that this was the time to come here and join your honorable force." Yorean told the guard.

What would I have done it I did come in contact with any Orcs? Yorean asked himself. He wasn't yet skilled enough with any of his weapons to do much. I hope I would have died with honor. That is all one can ask

Sidra jumped a little when the guard approched her, her eyes still normalizing from the flash of light.
"I wish to study either at the Temple of Atara Arda or to become a bard. I haven't quit decided yet." She gave the gaurd a rueful smile.

Seeing that he startled her made the guard snicker. He apologises for startling her and reaches into a pouch and pulls out a paper and begins to write something on it.

"It seems that you may need a place to rest until you decide what it is you want to do. I would suggest that you go to the Inn Ithil'Opele it is a nice place fair in price and very good food. Present this pass to Maegra at the Inn."

He handed her the pass and waved her through the gates.

"Ah the Emerald Guard is it? Well that is a wise decision and you will soon be a very good scout if you join them." The younger guard said to the young elf.

The older guard overhearing this interrupted them and gave the younger one a very hard look and sent him off to do some other job that needed attending.

"So tell me how is it that you saw now sign at all of Orcs when most of the elves passing through here have seen atleast some sign along their way," the older guard challenged the new comer with suspicion thick in his voice.

Sidra frowned at the gaurd's smile when he starttled her, but held her tounge. "Thank you." Was all she said when he handed her a note. With that she walked off into a new world.

Yorean smiled to himself at the young guards comments. He couldn't help but feel proud at his words.

He understood the older guardsmen's reaction too. "I understand your reserve sir" he said. "With war on the horizon, you can't be too careful. But I assure you, I have nothing but ill will towards the Orcs. You see, my father was an Emerald Guardsmen. His name was Demodary Mur'Khadid, he was killed in an Orcan raid 24 yehen ago. I am here to follow in his footsteps and defend my Queen. I really didn't see any signs of Orc activity"

"Mur'Khadid, yes this name is familiar to me," said the older guard.

"I am very honored to meet the son of Demondary Mur'Khadid," he said with a slight bow.

He took out a paper and began writing something on it and handed it to the young elf.

"Take this pass to the Palace Gates and present it there. It will allow you to enter there and proceed on your quest."

The older guard bowed slightly out of respect for the younger ones father and waved him through the gates. The younger guard was beaming a grin from ear to ear.

"I hope to see you sometime," he called out.

Yorean felt very pleased that the guard knew of his father and even more pleased at the show of respect. "Thank you sir, I appriciate your help."

Yorean waved to the younger guard and responded, "I hope to see you as well!"

With that he was off to the Palace Gates with his pass in hand.
Velid T'port

Post by Velid T'port »

Velid walked up nervously to the gates of the city hoping to get right through the gate. Velid has recently been away on a trip but is now visiring his mother. Returning to Taloh Tel'Amrun made Velid very happy to be home but also saddened that he might lose it due to the war.

As Velid walked up to the gates he bowed slightly "Excuse me good sirs may I pass through?"

Velid patiently awaited his reply.

Velid took his papers and started to walk into the city. Then he stopped and walked back to to the guards.

"Are you part of the Emerald Gaurd? Do you know where I can find them?" Velid asked the guard closest. then Velid pulled out his papers "Can you show me where I can go to join them?" He said pointing at his papers hoping for the guard to draw a map to the place.

"Of course I am," the guard said a little stiffly.

"Oh you go to the Palace Gates and they will direct you from there."

He took a paper out of a pouch and drew a map from where they were to the Palace Gates.

"Here maybe this will help you get there. Good luck."

He hands him the map and waves him through with a smile.
