The Fine Rose Inn - Merchant District

Post by Rees »

Two levels of comfortable rooms with balconies open to overlook the Hanging Gardens are used mainly by foreigners, either merchants or lesser diplomats not being housed at T'aquir.

There is a large comfortable main room, with alcoves formed of interwoven branches for private conversations and also soft low divans and round cushions and tables throughout for dining and talking. It gives more the impression of an elegant Hall than a tavern or common room.

The Fine Rose Inn - Merchant District

Aftermath of the Great Conflagration of Samheen 19th

The edifice was a burned ruin of a huge Ironwood Tree. What once a grand and elegant inn was now a hollow, black sooted skeleton tree. Charcoaled wood and ashes covered the floor, broken and melted glass were everywhere and the elegant, colorful silks and tapestries that once hung upon the bark wall were partly singed. The place was reduced to ruin and ashes.
