Italics in Character Sheet

I have my character thinking in italics during the background part of her character sheet.

Do I need to use a code to indicate italics, such as the HTML code <I> </I>?

Or will the italics show up on their own?

You'll need the HTML code to make the italics show up.

Paragraphs also need HTML <p> and </p>. You can leave them out, but it makes the sheet a pain to read.
