"I wouldn't do that again if I were you..." He murmured, softly, pleasantly, something dangerous flashing in his dark eyes. He was all of one step away from a fight, right up in Langredoc's face, and grinning. As he spoke, that last lungful of smoke seeped out, a little puff with every plosive. "Ya might find yer startin' somethin' y'ain't prepared ta finish, mate."

said the guy....

A curse was brewing in his mind when he saw the guy leaving his seat. Just his luck that the guy decided to challenge him in stead of backing off just like any semi normal person would do.

Some part, deep inside of the back of his mind actually growled something like "Lemmy have him dude... after that only his mom shall recognize him..". He was tired, warm, annoyed and now this guy wanted to fight him. It would fit just nice in his report. "Yeah, I kicked the guys ass, yeah I knew I should only tail him. But heck, he was smoking in that stupid hell hole of a bus and that's illegal so I had to do something about that."

In the end he just grinned back at Fin and prepared for a fight. His green eyes reflecting ironic amusement facing Fin's while he just blew away the smoke, ironic because the guy was not aware of Langredoc's special forces background. Yeah he could fight.... he could just win the fight and lose his job. The grin on his ex face would be huge.... she would just say "They kicked you out of the army because of that, and now the feds kick you out....."

It was blonde, wet, with big boops and wiggled her way in between Langedoc and Fin. In a reflex the man moved a bit away, distracted by this one woman invasion..

She started to blabber about not fighting and stuff, something Langredoc totally ignored until she asked the guy for a smoke herself !!

It really pissed Langredoc off. He knew he could end it here and now by showing his ID and kick them both back in their seats. But that would clearly spoil his chance of tailing the guy totally... except..

"Okay, babycakes" he said in a soft toned voice, sly and dangerous, but still not taking his eyes away from Fin. "You go back to your place, if you want to smoke, ask the driver to throw you out of the window. The exhaust of the bus can give you all the smoke you want. And you...."

He was now talking to Fin. "They asked me to keep you whole and save... if you want to change that, just ask......"

Lets see if some bravado could prevent a fight..... he was uncomfortable of the gun resting on his back. This really turned out to be a shitty day...

"Vegas? No, not really spent a lot of time in the states to be honest." Jack noticed that Alexa was avoiding his eyes and took the opportunity to trace the lines of her face with his own gaze. "I hear you on the flight out though. I don't care if it is $100." He smiled and sat back, trying to diffuse the embarrassment. "What sends you to Vegas then?" He asked, waving his hands in mock awe.

The pale blond head turned a bit to notice the arguing men and the woman started to interject only making it worse. Then she turned around and hunched down in her seat. "I hope there isn't going to be any trouble." She murmured softly with concern as she subtly checked Jack out while he noticed the argument. When his attention shifted, she was looking straight ahead but when she finally had the courage to look at him he was staring back at her with his beautiful eyes. Alexandrya had to will herself not to blush again. It was ridiculous and she knew it and inwardly scolded herself for acting so childish...well highschool...junior highschool...crap.

Jack's friendly smile did help ease some of the embarassment as she listened to his accented voice until she realised the question he was asking. "Ah me? OH...uhm..." Could she really tell him why she was stuck on a bus going to Vegas? "Well..." She continued to hesitate as she slipped off her sandals and pulled her feet close to her chest and leaned over slightly towards Jack. A subtle scent of roses and peppermint could be caught from her neck and hair. "It's a secret." She ended with a theatrical whisper and grinned at him, her eyes brightening to a lighter shade of gray. "What is done in Vegas...stays in Vegas." She continued in her normal melodic tone and hoped that was the correct phrase for the conversation but then giggled at how absurd it was. "I'll give you three guesses though...only because I am feeling benevolent." Alexandrya said sweetly wondering if she could pull off being a bit more flirtatious and less shy. Loosen up!

When the silicone blonde shoved her way between the two men in an attempt to calm the situation, Finley barely noticed. Had it been any other time, he might have been acutely aware of the large pair of breasts heaving inches away from his face, but right now, all he could concentrate on was his opponent. This was the pre-fight pissing match, to see who would back down first... or to see if either of them would. It required complete concentration.

There were not unlike a pair of dogs, hackles bristling, low growls forming in their throats. Not that Finn would have thought of this comparison. He was not a man to give a situation a romantic gloss. To him, this was merely the preamble before the fun began. Finn did not take his eyes off Langredoc for a moment. The twisted smirk on his chapped lips set in place. Right up until the cop spoke.

Then, rather abruptly, his expression changed. The smile faltered.

They...?

Something in the corner of his face twitched - some muscle near his eye. A subtle clenching of the jaw. He stared at Langredoc, and time seemed to slow to a treacle-crawl - his mind a flood of images and memories. Unpleasant things, other times, welling up in a litany of guilt, a dark tide rising. Names, too - lost names and faces, glassy eyes and grey fingers, dark stains on carpets, background noise and flies on eyelids, the stink. The stink of it. Unmarked locations, unspoken secrets. In a fraction of a second, the whole of it revealed itself to Finn, the hundred and one things he'd abandoned and hidden and suppressed, moved away from and hoped would never catch him up.

Oh. Fuck.

It was obvious to him, in this overwhelming moment of clarify and vertigo, who this they were. Any criminal organisation - and there were a few who might pay dearly to know of Finley Ward's whereabouts at present - would not mind either way were he hurt. It would make little odds to them. No, those sorts of people would send only a man and a gun, and there would be no preamble about it. Perhaps there would be a warning, an explanation - and then there would be merely death, and it would be as secluded and hidden as every death Finley himself had caused. This man was not of their sort. No, the only people who'd strictly observe a code of conduct - who would insist he remained unharmed... well, those sorts of people would have him wearing orange in a courtroom. Those sorts of people would have evidence, and files. Those sorts of people would have him on death row before you could say lynch mob...

He looked over Langredoc's face, curiously, the lines and the shadows of it, a moment of quiet and calm before the storm, feeling himself curiously detached... as if the sudden and overwhemling vertigo had dropped his body from him like a stone and left only his mind here, hanging, observing, unrelated and immortal. Perhaps once this had been a fight over a cigarette, but now... now the storm was his life, and he was watching it, very slowly, run away. And just like that, Finn made the only decision left to him.

He turned, and bolted for the grey duffel bag. Inside, near the top... he could almost see it already... there was a gun. And it spelled hope.

Finnegan was rather surprised, and a little offended, as the blonde woman pushed past him to press between the fighting men. He typically had very high regard for the fairer gender, especially the hard-headed stubborn sort that you'd find tending a bar in Texas--he was going to miss that state. If one of those woman, the ones that could handle drunken brawls between tough bikers like so many squabbling children, he would have just stepped back and watched. But this walking stereotype looked as if she could hold off the fight as much as throwing a kiddie-pail of water on a giant brush fire.

Even if the woman was a distraction, he found himself watching the two men with anticipation. It was the epitome of outlaw versus law man, and the Scotsman had a front row seat.

When Finley dove for his seat, the redhead, pulled himself forward, hand over hand on the backs of the seats. He got himself with in a single row of seats, fingers digging into the padding so hard he was leaving huge divots in the foam.

The confrontation between the two was getting more and more interesting. It was a bit amusing to see Silicone Sally there barge in the middle, asking for (of all things) a cigarette, but the staredown between the two men was infinitely more interesting. The layers of meaning packed underneath the simple, monosyllabic words uttered, the changes in facial expressions - it was a first-class drama unfolding right in front of him and other confused and bemused spectators.

Finally, the tension was broken. The short, ugly guy lunged towards his bag, and Adriano got the impression things were about to get ugly. He observed the two, speechless, waiting to see what would happen next. It felt like some cheap action movie, but what made it intriguing was the element of randomness. Real life was much more unpredictable, and this particular situation could be resolved in any number of ways.

Most of them were highly unpleasant, however.

Jack raised his eyebrows at her challenge. "Benevolent?" Jack echoed, suprise evident in his voice. "I am honoured im sure." Jack bowed his head in mock fealty, his face straight as a die. He stroked the day's growth on his chin immitating her theatric tone. His mind was only half on the problem, the other half was happily fantisizing. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Now there was a proposition if ever Jack had heard one.

"Wait, I know!" Jack turned and layed one hand on her knee. "You are a master criminal intending to rob the worlds largest casinos. You are just on this bus to cover your tracks you sly dog." Jack's eyes shone with feigned suspicion, she had wanted to play a game and Jack was only too willing to oblige. Cat and mouse was one of his favourites. For all his control, Jack's suppressed smile began to bleed through and he couldn't hold her gaze. He glanced back at the trio to the rear of the bus just in time to see Finley dart for his bag.

In the back of his mind Jack had been acutely aware that the tone at the back of the bus had taken a decidedly hostile edge. He silently echoed Alexa's prayer, this journey had just gotten interesting and it would be a damned shame if it went sour right now. Suddenly Jack felt the humour drain. If they were going to fight, they would have just struck each other. That this one was going for his bag meant a weapon. Jack prayed. God please not a gun. His eyes dropped down to the smiling girl beside him.

Of course it was a gun, this was America - it was always a gun.

When Jack's hand was placed on her knee, she was grateful that she was sitting or she would have melted right through the floor. Soft laughter did burst out as a slender hand came up to cover Jack's mouth, "Shhhh...I am no such thing! A mastermind indeed." Her eyes twinkling as he played along with her game. "You have two more guesses." She said happily and then realised that her hand touched his mouth completely breaking through her boundaries and when she realised that, Alexandrya started to pull her hand away. "I-I'm sorry."

When she noticed Jack wasn't smiling anymore, the young lady had thought she offended him not realising that it was because of something else he had seen at the back of the bus. The sudden mood change made her feel worse if not guilty. She murmured softly. "I don't know what I was thinking..."

Somehow, everything seemed familiar: the dramatic scene, the suspense, the drama, and that... What the heck was that?

"Ten-ten-ten-tenen!" Suddenly, the radio of the bus came alive, though it was faint, a slow, sensual music, of a woman breathing at first, moaning, groaning with a background sound: "Ten-ten-tenen..."

"Is that a looong, sleek gun?" Flora exclaimed at Finn staring at the bulge in his duffel bag, her voice breathy, her blue eyes wide with fear and she couldn't help but shake her bosoms at the man lunging for his pistol inside his bag and she paused and frowned, Where have I heard that line before?

It was then she remembered... Exquisite Bozangers

The same scene she had from her porno flicks where in she was a super hero with genormous power who could smother villains with her bosoms. It was a hit movie, Flora remembered and there were a lot of dolls made after her: life-like inflatable dolls with costume. It was the same line Flora won her prestigious award.

She gasped, unsure of what to do. Should Flora unhook her bra and smother Finn between her heaving gelatinous bosom just like she did on that movie? "He has a loooong, sleek gun!" The porn star could only exclaim in her breathy voice, unable to take her blue eyes off Finn's long bulging thing in his bag. Or perhaps that was a dil... No, why would he bring one? And she smiled as she remembered Emilio inside her luggage. If I have one, then perhaps, he could bring one too. I wonder if he named it too.

"Oh... Wait... Maybe... it's not?"

"Ten-ten-tenen..." And the music blared on in the background with its groaning, moaning and whimpering sound.

So much for the big mouth Langredoc concluded, while pulling his Beretta 98 free from its resting place on his back, to aim it at Finley.

With a quick push he launched Fauna towards Finnegan. Sending the light woman flying through the bus.

Then he blasted at Finley "FBI your under arrest, don't move...put your hands...."

Strange enough even though time flashed by. He still had some thoughts that stunned him. Why was he out of reach of any help, with a guy who was clearly not what he seemed to be...

When they kicked him out of his bed they had just given him a picture and the remark that it would be a piece of cake, and no further information was deemed necessary.

But now he had a different picture. This was a shitty situation. His ex knew how much he hated smoking people. According to the latest gossips she was sleeping around lwith some hot shots in the bureau, and they where on the investigation list. He allready had some evidence that these guys where not so clean. Would she want to get some extra revenge by helping them to put him in a situation where he could be killed ?

He doubted it, even Raevyn would not do that, would she ?? O damned well she would. Even if it was just to get his last pennies to throw into the river. Or at least his gun before she slept with his murderer. Yeah a mind as devious as a woman can be, the name Raevyn D`Altamooriana, would be written in history books someday, without a doubt. If Langredoc would be lucky he would be a side note, first deadly victim.

Time went on ever so slowly, or fast depending on the side of the gun.

The redhead hadn't been wrong in likening the scenario to all of the American movies he had feared were true. When the agent pulled out the weapon, Finnegan froze. This had been exciting and a little entertaining when it was just an argument over a cigarette. But now, in his minds eye, he saw most of the passengers not making it to Las Vegas. Ricocheting bullets. Finley deciding there should be no witnesses. Shooting the driver, sending the bus off the road and---

His hypothetical disasters would have grown worse, if the woman hadn't been sent his direction so suddenly. A moment of panic: catch her or get out of the way? But his hesitation decided for him, standing in her direct trajectory to the front of the bus.

As he instinctively reached to catch her and his hands made contact, he blushed hard enough to be visible under the sunburn.

OOC : Because Fin is a bit busy at the moment and I prefer the thread to go on I do the following. I create a stand off between Finley and Langredoc until she is back.

IC:

Langredoc aimed the gun on the back of Finley.

"Don't even think of it, dude." he growled. Pulling his badge from his back pocket.
"FBI, so whatever you do, keep your hands away from the bag."

Sadly enough, Finley ignored the words, keeping his hand steady on top of the bag.

Creating a standoff between the two men.

Silently Langredoc pondered if he would shoot the guy and remove at least one smoker from the world.......

But that would reflect bad on his report..... to many smokers in the FBI.

"Remove your hands..... and put them on your head...."

Jack scarcely noticed the girl's fingers brush his lips. His eyes were fixed firmly on the two men at the back of the bus, the hot summer sun mirrored in the steel of a beretta. Jack dropped quietly off his seat and knelt in the footwell, presenting as sleek a profile as he could whilst still observing the pair.

"Get your head down honey." Jack whispered to Alexa. One hand tugged gently on her shoulder, trying to coerce her into the crash position. The other hand drifted to the leg pocket of his combats. Slowly and quietly he slipped something into the palm of his hand.

"Looks like things are turning nasty here," Jack whispered, "and I still have two guesses to cash in - so try your best to keep down." He smiled and winked to her, feds were one thing, but if the tramp really did have a gun in that bag and the fed bit the bullet (so to speak) Jack very much intended on being a living witness.

Alexandrya had overcome her shyness as she watched the ongoings at the back of the bus. She looked back towards Jack with concern and lowered her body down from the seat as if taking cover. "What are you going to do?" She whispered softly.

As he mentioned about his last two guesses, she gave him a sheepish smile. The young lady never imagined something would happen like this on a bus ride. "Please be careful."

She wondered when this bus ride would end. It was odd to have a criminal and a law enforcement agent standing in the back of the bus. The very bus that she had decided to take a trip on to Vegas on. What was Jack up to? She blinked as she watched him, silently.

OOC: I apologise for my slow posting of late. On the other hand, please don't assume things, ta. ;)

As soon as the words came - and Finn had been expecting them - he froze, long instinct kicking in hard and fast. Deep in the pit of his stomach a cold lump formed, like an icy fist, and fear soaked him as thoroughly as if it had been water from a bucket. There were few things less pleasant than being shot, or so he'd heard. He was not keen on finding out today.

Fuck. Fuck!

Slowly, Finn raised his hands skywards and rested them on the top of his head, on the back of the large black stetson. His heart was thumping, white hot adrenaline coursing through his veins, inaction making his hands shake. He wished he'd kept the gun in the waistband of his trousers as he'd considered doing, earlier. He'd thought it a paranoia, unnecessary. Who would have thought he'd find an FBI guy on such a ride? Next thing to happen would be the cuffs, surely. These guys didn't fuck about. Finn wondered, very slowly, if there were any options left.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck....

Finn caught Fauna's eye and, ludicrously, winked. Then his gaze slid meaningfully to the bag, and he raised his eyebrows slightly. Something about her was very familiar, and something about those silicone breasts spoke of desperation. If anyone might be an ally on this deathtrip to Vegas, it might be her.

Get the fuckin' gun, fuckhead, an' everythin' in that bag is yours...

It was a real shame he couldn't communicate telepathically. The scruffy conman could only hope his expression would be enough. Dark eyes watched her intensely. There was a lot of money in that bag, and though he could hardly tell her now, he'd be happy enough to pay for his freedom. Almost imperceptibly, the muscle in his jaw clenched and unclenched as he ground his teeth together.

Please dear fuckin' god get the fuckin' gun an' shoot this clown, bitch! C'MON...!

And here I thought Flora joined for comic relief, but then again, who would know the mind of a very deranged person? And so, the porn star came aflying towards the waiting arms of Finnegan and the lucky son of a b*tch indeed made contact.

They were soft, luscious soft, scrumptious even and they pressed upon Finnegan's hands first, but the momentum of the bus, the hard push of Langredoc snapped the lock of her bra away and they flew upward and landed between Jack and Alexandrya as Flora stumble over the red-head, pulling him down beneath her onto the solid floor of the bus, his face right between her naked, heaving cleavage

"Hey!" She cried at FBI agent and got up, her arms akimbo. "What's the idea of pushing me?" Perhaps it was her naked breasts, or the way the desert sunlight slanted to touch her glimmering, sweat drenched breast, when the blond pornstar suddenly saw Finley making a pass at her with a wink and subtle nudge at his duffel bag. She frowned and felt her skin shivered beneath the sweltering heat. Where had she seen that look before? But something clicked inside her, something purred like a snake suddenly waking up and uncoiling itself from a very long hibernation.

"Whoa!" Flora exclaimed sultry, the way she moved was suddenly different as she swept her blue eyes around the bus, eyes that were... Netheric? What was that? Where did that came from? Nether? "Aren't you quite free with that gun of yours?" She spat out acidly at Langredoc but her cold eyes were encouraging Finley. Too soon, it's too soon. Wait for it... "I wanna see your badge before you start shooting?" Flora continued as she slowly, confidently, imperiously moved towards the FBI agent and tried to moved passed him. "What if you're not really an officer?"

Damned, and his sister as well.........

Some days are good and some days your screwed at the moment to leave your pigsty.

"Hey!" Fauna cried at FBI agent and got up, her arms akimbo. "What's the idea of pushing me?"

Blasted, the return of the bimbo part 2, is she his accomplish or something ????????

Langredoc knew that whatever he did the woman would distract him, but before he could do anything more then waving his badge halfhearted towards silicon valley moving towards him, she already tried to squeeze between him and Finley.

"I wanna see your badge before you start shooting?"

A growl left Langredoc's mouth when he shifted his attention for the tiny amount of time that takes a eternity to pass. In that time he used the arm with the badge to push Fauna once again towards Finnegan, and to be honest he hoped that she would break something and stay there. The next option would be to shoot her, provided that the bullet would be able to penetrate her silicone body armor.

His attention shifted back to Finley as fast as possible thinking about the handcuffs stored somewhere in his traveling bag. The last time he had used the handcuffs was with the cute redhead about a year ago, so it was stuffed way down the bag, not really in reach.

Fuck

As the woman's weight pressed on him, he grabbed one of the seats to maintain his balance. She was so much smaller than he that even with her ample attributes, she should have just bounced off, barely making him stumble. That is, if they had been on steady ground. The same pot hole jolt that triggered the release of the porn star's bra also compromised the redhead's balance.

His head hit the hard arm of a seat on the way down, before it hit the floor, leaving him seeing stars and unable to breathe. Wait, it wasn't the hit to his head that made it near impossible to draw breath. By the time he realized what the damp masses pressing on his face were, the stale air was already rushing back into his lungs.

Staggering to his feet, he looked rather ruffled and even more red in the face than he had been before. Was the blond woman really going back toward the gun fight? This really was like an action movie, complete with the air-headed wannabe hero. The sort of woman that usually ended up shot or held hostage.

When Finnegan saw her being pushed back for a second time, he braced himself against another fall. This time, he intended to grab a hold of her--around the waist, at the shoulders, grabbing for anywhere that could be considered decent. He didn't want to see anyone hurt on this trip.

Jack hardly moved as the bra landed on his arm. His attention was entirely focused on the fed, the hobo and the now topless pornstar. It would be comical if there wasn't a very real danger of bullets flying. Very slowly, Jack tilted his head towards Alexa, speaking in low tones.

"Could you... shift... that." He whispered, there was a strange smell coming from the garment. One Jack would rather be without.

Grey eyes looked up at Jack and frowned, "I don't know what's on it, but I don't think I should touch it either. Maybe I can crawl back to my aisle." She whispered back. No way was she going to touch some dirty woman's undergarments and started to scoot towards her aisle before the shooting started. Hopefully, the many seats from the back were enough to stop stray bullets and the distance would be enough from the other woman's bra. Ewww...

Finn, to his great credit, had managed to resist screaming abuse at everyone within a hundred foot radias, and perhaps trying to kill at least half of them. Instead, hands on the back of his head, he was studying the ceiling as if it were ridiculously fascinating. Something in the set of his jaw, the way his lips curled - it was fairly obvious he was extraordinarily angry. The only thing holding him back was the very present gun immediately behind him.

It was a shame Finley could not see Valsert, and could not know of the momentary distraction. Of course, he was more than aware of Fauna pushing past him - it would be hard to miss that much cleavage at close range - but it was probably more than his life was worth to make any sort of break for it. He was fairly sure there'd be a better opportunity.

But right now, there was little he could do besides wait and fume, silently. Through the scratched plastic skylight of the coach he could see a blue, clear, cloudless sky. An Australian sky, they used to call it back home. He concentrated very hard on that tiny patch of scratched blue, and hoped to god his moment to move would come soon.

A trickle sense of releave flowed through Langredoc when Finley did put his hands on his head.No shooting so far, so all was well..

Now the question was how to get those blasted handcuffs out of the bag without getting into trouble....

So he moved to pass the guy and said "Ok, guy, you are going to move to a place away from your bag, and where I can see you very well. So move your ass to the back of the bus. Left corner."

So he turned his back on the other passengers and waited for the guy to move.

5 killed in Greyhound shootout.

FBI is researching a shootout and following crash of a greyhound bus heading for Vegas. So far 5 bodies have been recovered from the wrack, the head of the investigation team also told our reporter that both guns used on the scene have been recovered and their owners have been identified. For now it seems that a known criminal has tried to hijack the bus and was interrupted by a federal officer who was known to follow the criminal. What happened further is unknown.

The investigation is being delayed by the fact that the whole bus has burned down leaving the bodies burned beyond recognition. As one of the recovery team members said... "Well its all charcoal thats in there !! Even the bones have popped and burned baby.."

That was before the FBI took over from the local police and closed the crime scene. But what we know is that nobody survived. A statement from the FBI informed us that there where no other people on the bus except those five. What really happened maybe we shall never know..

Littleton.
