Morgan was busy rushing around making his own preparations that tradetide, but he did get time to drop a couple of letters round to his friends about the expedition he planned to undertake. All three were similar, on simple sheets of folded parchment.

A spidery hand wrote:Dear friend,

I will be setting out tomorrow to investigate sources of magickal energy in the jungle on behalf of Professor Octava. We hope to discover the location of the spirit of the island itself. Your presence on this expedition would be greatly valued and appreciated.

If you would like to come with me, meet me outside the Explorers' Guild at the second mark of morningtide, Jygust 31st.

As soon as he received the letter, Motley replied.

I would love to be a part of your expedition. I am teaching a class at the Rocky Island Guild in the morning, but I will accompany you as soon as the class is released, and I can make my way over to the Explorer's Guildhouse.
