Confused new player

I made this character a couple of days ago. So far he's stuck at the gates. Are the gates usually moderated - and do you have to wait for a mod's post before you can enter the city? Or can I just post elsewhere and find a few people who are willing to play with me?

Yes, the gate threads are moderated. And yes, you need to wait to get through the gate thread before you can post elsewhere in the city. I believe either Torc or Lallana will be your moderator - sometimes a gate thread can take a few days. Patience is in order. *grins* Good luck in WM, by the way. ALL the cool people play in WM...
