Sych Events...It's bittersweet, I s'pose..

Hello all...again...I have come back to this fascinating board to post an intriguing question.
:3 I must be a regular on this particular board (lol)

Ok, to the point, in regards to Synch events I have visited these Tazlurian Wikipedia pages as listed below;

Unfortunately I cannot seem to locate a page with information regarding the actions taken by characters when the site undergoes a Synch Event.

More or less, do characters with the subtitle 'Civus' need to join in on the overview that characters write in regards as to what they've been up to during the time in between Synch Dates?

EDIT: I do believe the term I was avoiding in this post was 'Recess'.
