I have a "Miep" (A navigation system that is not TomTom). So if you want I can drive to your house. Or we can organize something more central. Either way should be good. Just drop me a PM and we'll sort it out.

I'll be there! Is there a babysitter bribed to take care of the rugrats??

No meat for me, probably only salad, my stomach is a bit jumpy at the moment...

Let's party!

*arches an eyebrow*

Yes, the rugrats have supervision of superbro and we always have a place for an extra rugrat.

As long as Brytan realizes I will not be playing meep-meep, we're safe :) He's good at finding the way, Viv :) Trust him!

Lyrics of The Star Wars Song

LYRICS

[Close Encounters of the Droid Kind]
You must use the force (repeat ad nauseum)

[Raiders of the Lost Wookiee]
Long time ago, far far away (repeat)

Kiss a wookie, kick a droid
Fly the falcon through an asteroid
Till the princess is annoyed
This is spaceships, it's monsters, it's Star Wars, we love it!

Come and help me, Obi Wan
X-wing fighter and a blaster gun
Dance with Ewoks, oh what fun!
This is spaceships, it's monsters, it's Star Wars, we love it!

[Super Han]
Get in there you big, furry oaf
I couldn't care less what you smell
I take orders from only me
Maybe you'd like it back in your cell
Your Highness, your worshipfulness, your highness, your worshipfulness

No one cares if you upset a droid
(nobody cares if you upset a droid)
That's because droids don't tear your arms out of socket.
(nobody cares)
I suggest a new strategy: let the Wookie win
That's because nobody cares if you upset a droid.

[ET the DiscoTerrestrial]
Now we listen to Luke whining:
One more season... One more season... One more season... One more season...

I was gonna go to Tashi Station for power converters
Now I guess I'm going nowhere.
It just isn't fair.

[Jaws: the Wookiee]
Wooookie (repeat)

Someone move this walking carpet (repeat)

Kiss your brother, Kiss your brother (repeat)

Princess Leia
Well I guess you don't know anything about women.

Who's your daddy? (repeat)

[Jurassic Darth]
Luke, I'm your father
(That's not true!)
It is useless to resist
(My hand!)
Come with me my son, We will rule
(I'll never join you!)
Search your feelings it is true

So you have a twin sister
Who Obi Wan was wise to hide
(Is that Leia?)
If you will not turn
Then perhaps she will
Give in to your hate
You are mine

Long Long Long Time ago... Far Far Far Far Away

Long Long Long Time Ago, Far Far Far Away (repeat)

Kiss a wookie
Kick a droid
Fly the falcon
Through an asteroid
Till the princess is annoyed
(She's annoyed!)
This is spaceships, it's monsters, it's Star Wars, we love it, it's true

Episode 3
Coming to you
In 2005

So Let's go
(go go go to the movies)
Stand in line
(buy buy buy me some popcorn)
Cause it's al-
(please I'd like extra butter)
most the time
(Join the dark side...)
May the Force be with you all

John Williams is the man

Two more questions:

Does the restaurant have an online menu?

And how long is the party likely to last? I don't turn into a pumpkin at midnight, but I would like to tell my hubby when I'll probably be home. :D

I am so looking forward to it though.

Check this link for a sample menu:
http://www.griekse-restaurants.info/res ... eiden.html

As for how long I would estimate we'd likely be eating till around 22:30 hours, with a little coffee afterwards. You might just make it before midnight ;)

Oh, pff, Maeve, that's so EARLY compared to the last two, though.

Booked the place under the name "de Bie" as they just didn't get Tazlure ;)

"de Bie"... too easy...

Anyhoot, looking forward, and I'm studying VERY hard on the song... Can't sing, but to hell with being off, I don't care one bit.

I don't know if I need to confirm it or not, but it looks like I'll be there, as long as Brytan and Syra can find me. :D

But I will NOT be doing any singing. I don't want to get arrested for disturbing the peace.

Uh, we're supposed to sing?
Nuh-uh!

Darlings, this is Leiden, the town where they have more "Ballen" (frat boys) than any other place on Earth. I dare say they had people singing before *chuckles*

At any rate the song is of particular nerdy significance *nods*

Still, all voluntary. I don't think I'll be able to do more than that to go "WoooooKIE"

How was it? Any pictures? Amusing anecdotes? :)

It was a nice quiet evening with friends, eating too much Greek and finishing with ice cream. No pictures were made, I do believe. We were just sharing company :)

Brytan made one or two pictures with a phone, but yes, even if the restaurant might disagree, it was a nice quiet evening :)

This won't be the last we see of each other, that much is certain!

It was quiet, but fun.

And to me, it wasn't about the ending of Tazlure, it was about a beginning ... of new friendships. :D

We didn't even sing the Star Wars song. I think we were well behaved ;)

*hugs Viv* Yes, many fairs are in our future!

Oh, and I've got Erwin to dress up next time AND play a table top session of fantasy RPG for the first time in 10 years. *beams* He insists on Victorian steampunk for fairs. I'll have to dig into that ;)
