Thieves in the Bazaar

There are 5 thieves in the bazaar. They try to watch each others backs where their territory overlaps, however, they woun't stick out their necks for one another. Despite this quixotic arrangement they've developed they've been able to hone their skills over the yahren and become masters of their trade. Dark Knights regularly patrol the bazaar looking for these thieves and other thieves try to find them for training. They are not affiliated with any guild and they usually stick to stealing food and little money to survive. Where they live and keep their base of operations is not known.

Each one however lives in different parts of Gulanadur and keep low profile establishments running semi legimate business. One runs small weapons repair shop. One grows herbalist mushrooms and surface plants. One mends clothes. One teaches stringed instruments. And one runs an up front accounting business.

While it may seem that these businesses might support them, or at least could suppor them. They started thieving before they developed their front. Old habits die hard and they've grown comfortable in their ways.

Mysterious items for Sale

The Fang of Gimpyramotch is useless in the hands of anyone who doesn't have the ability to see magickla energies. The Fang in the hands of one who has Energy Manipulation: Sorcery however acts as a medium powered magickal item. The Fang gives the user the ability to carve stone, to speak with lizards, and within heat. None of these abilities are readily apparent and the owner will have to discover these things on his/her own. A book deep in the library of the Mage Guild will give details hinting at the usefulness of the item. However there is a reason that no mage currently holds it and uses it. This is not detailed at all in the book. The Fang calls out to Shade Dragons that live deep beneath the waters of Gulanadur. The Shade Dragons seek to detroy the user of the item but have no will to reclaim the fang, so another can pick it up. There are several dragons and they will terrorize and kill populace.

The Left Eye of the Pawn is a thieves dream. The left eye however is not an actual organ, at lesat it no longer is. The Pawn is a famous icon of the assassin's guild spoken about in whispers and when very drunk. Only th ehead mistress knows who the pawn was and it's said that she's the reason the pawn disappeared. The Pawn was a master assassin who delighted in dealing with the noble families and going on excursions away from Gulanadur. The rumors say that the Pawn returned to find the head mistress in bed with another assassin and grew very upset about it for some reason, perhaps they were also lovers. In teh scuffle that ensued, the Pawn was blinded by gouging and his eyes were quickly stolen away and turned into stone. The stone were white with the veins of black which when cut with a very sharp blade or held while in the throes of passion will bleed the glowing purple waters of Gulanadur. The cut will heal itself over a period of time. The Right eye of the Pawn was destroyed long ago, but the Left Eye remains somewhere still watching over his love.

The Ooavue is a small wooden statue in the shape of a sqautting deep pig with overgrown tusks curling out of the mouth and reach over the back of its head. The Ooavue once belonged to the first dark elf before the fall of Gulanadur. The early dark adhiel would worship the Ooavue with blood and the grease of cooked fish. In return the Ooacue would give the dark adhiel the ability to see deep into the night and show them secrets of the night and of the earth and stone. The Ooavue was a small piece of the Father that the dark adhiel alone looked after and followed, but the Grey elves looked upon this as disdainful. The dark adhiel did not worship their gods the way they did. How could they black brethern stoop so low as to lay down life and fat for a small wooden idol. While the Father was originally pleased with the dark adhiel, teh grey elves carried through with thei machinations to hinder the dark adhiel and destroy the Ooavue. But the Ooavue was not just a simple statue, he was as aspect of the Father, and he loved the dark adhiel for their devotion. The dark adhiel however had long since began to confuse the statue for the diety and many long wars ensued afterward that eventually led to the condition of the elves today.

No one worships the Ooavue any longer but a couple small copies of the statue of Ooavue as well as the three burnt pieces of the original. None can bring themselves to finally discard these forgotten remnants of the past. Perhaps they stir up pity in the bearer of the figurine, perhaps they do something more. But because of this the slumbering bundle of energies of the Father swirl contently within the fragments waiting for the time to come again when all the dark adhiel remember who they once were, a strong and prosperous race who loved their Father and were at peace with the land.
