The Woodlands

The vast forests, fields and waterways that make up the realm of Taquar itself. The deep woods are impassable to those who do not know them, and it can be a long day's journey from one settled area to another.

The nobility have their 'estates' within the woodlands, and villages and settlements are somewhat feudal, with many elves perfectly happy to live most of their long lives in the forests, only seldom journeying to Taloh, on horseback or on foot.

Still others will spend much of their lives in wandering the woodlands, whether hunting, as Border Scouts, gathering herbs and plants or just striving to be more at one with the nature around them.

There is a sickness in the Woods, the trees and many of the inhabiting creatures have become twisted, corrupted version of what they once were. There is a group currently investigating the sourse of the corruption.

Though it is not known by the public, it is know within the Palace, for the Queen, being tied empathicly to her Lands, can feel the perversion taking place. It is being kept secret from the population, for the Queen herself is falling ill due to this infection.

The Woodlands of T'aquar

Aftermath of the Great Inferno of Samheen 19th

The forest surrounding the Taloh, Capital City of T'aquar were burned, almost resembling a graveyard of trees; empty, desolated and ravaged while the impassable forests and woods that makes up the realm of T'aquar was silent. The sickness in the woods of T'aquar were now growing, twisted and tainted for some unknown reason.

The feudal estates and village settlements were now empty and silent, like a ghost town. What once a densely populated by Adhiels were now populated by wolves and predators, rumors has it that in the dead of the night, strange howls and growls can be heard baying in the distant horizon.

Those few hunter adhiels and border patrols roaming the forest kept to themselves, wary and alert to some unknown dark forces looking at them.
