OOC: I had bought a new computer and had trouble with reinstalling the drivers/internet on it. I finally got it working ok now, so that is a problem less to think about. I can concentrate back on the story again.

IC:
The apprentice shaper listened carefully to the Lady. Yes, it is true. The mirror sounds more easy, only darkness is blocking the mirror. It being closer would as well cut in the travel time. She gave an understanding and accepting nod to the Lady Paladin. "I feel good with your decision Lady Galliban. Let us go there first."

A respectful curtsy was given to the two Lords that went on their way.

She blinked one time and remained a few flickers in silence. "I am not prepared the way I am now. I have all the outdoors equipment I want in my room. I could be ready quite soon with packing. Yet how are we going to travel there? Will we go by feet or any other means of transportation?"

For a short duration she rushed through many memories of travelling into the unknown. She recalled some past stories she heard long ago. It brought her some ideas that could be used for the travel.

"We should take some form of provisions with us, we never know what will happen out there. It could be that it is so dangerous that the forest is unable to give to us our primal needs of survival."

She gave a fast sigh. "There may be probably more things that should be done in preparation for such a quest. However it does not come to mind on the moment. Lady Galliban, would you be coming along to my room or would you want me to come here after I have done the packing for the outdoors?"

She left for her room to pack all her outdoors equipment in the backpack and satchel, hung the quiver over her back and took the bow. Let me see… Writing utensils, health and beauty, clothes, light, waterskins, eating set, spyglass, flute, blanket and of course Daffodil. That are all the things I brought and all the things that go with me again. We never know were we will end up or what problems we will face.

Done with packing of her personal belongings for use in the outdoors was done. She walked near the Lady Paladin to give her notification. "I am done with packing."

OOC: Quite understandable!

IC: Galliban gave a farewell nod to the two ancient adhiel as they went on their way, then was left alone with Aeshinera on the rooftop.

"Lord Un'Qyn said that we would be supplied with horses, maps, and supplies. I assume that our supplies will include some provisions," Galliban replied to Aeshinera. "However, I am afraid that I do not know how to ride a horse." she added. Of course, not knowing how to ride would not be all that unusual for someone who had lived in a city for most of their life like Galliban.

"I will come along with you to your room. By the way, you needn't call me 'Lady Galliban'. There should be no such formality between us if we are to be traveling companions." she said, then followed Aeshinera down to her room.

Galliban watched Aeshinera pack in silence, her mind occupied with thoughts of the trials ahead.

"Very well. I think it would be best to wait until dawn to depart. I do not know how long it will take for our supplies and such to be readied, but I assume that we will be notified," said Galliban, then paused for a moment as if trying to remember something she had forgotten. "Oh, yes, I remember what it was that I wished to ask you. Have you any experience with any sort of weapon?" she asked finally.

An understanding nod was gestured upon the Lady's answer. Ah that is good. Listening on what she added she gave a short giggle. "Horseback riding, it is not something I am specialised in either. I had only recently learned the basics of it. If you want I can pass this knowledge on to you. Unless you feel we should visit an instructor."

The acolyte smiled after hearing that she does not have to be formal around her. No formalities during the journey. She is nice to want that.

"Yes, that is a good question, how long would it take for the supplies to be readied? Outside that, I have no idea of what the supplies would be and how we would take it along with us. As for a weapon, I have very little experience in the bow. My father forced me to learn the basics, however I am not very fond myself of using weapons. I understand that sometimes there would be no alternative.. Leaving fighting the only option, this happened only once for me, when I encountered something like a Cerberus. Other than that, I have no experience with any weapon. My life has not been battle driven.. I would rather like to solve a dispute with just voice than to clash weapons. How do you feel about combat? What weapons are you experienced in?"

Aeshinera gave a fast glance through the room to see if she would have forgotten anything to pack. All is packed well, nothing forgotten, time for travel is ready. What about the way we travel? Oh that is a good question. "Galliban, I wondered, are we going to travel with a low profile? I mean hiding our marks that show were we belong to, so in that way not to attract too much attention when we travel around. I could just change clothes and hairstyle so I would not look as a priest or a shaper, but more like a common girl."

Galliban was glad to hear that Aeshinera did know how to use a bow, even if her experience was limited. She considered Aeshinera's questions about combat for a moment before answering.

"In truth, I prefer to resolve situations without the use of violence too. Unfortunately, this is not often possible where I am involved. One can scarcely negotiate with a demon. As a paladin, I am the sword of Illuminatus. Though I may be a warrior, however, I do not love violence. Needless bloodshed is not the way of my god," she said, then paused for a moment before continuing. "I have learned to fight with two one-handed swords simultaneously, a rare style of combat. I would like to learn to use other weapons some day, such as smaller blades and bows." she went on.

"Of course, we will want to keep as low a profile as possible during our travels, but I believe that speed is essential. The sooner we recover the holy artifacts, the sooner this world will be rid of Blayvanna and Taquar delivered from her blight. You may wish to disguise your appearance, though I do not know if that will deter attack. It seems to me that the orcs and demon spawn would attack any not of their kind regardless of appearance. In any case, I do not think that I would be able to disguise myself. My armor would not fit under clothing and I doubt that my weapons could be hidden," Galliban continued, stopping again as she had before as if she was attempting to remember something. "That reminds me of something. Perhaps it would be best for you to wear some armor. Something not too heavy, like leather or chain armor, I think. Where we are going, you might very well get some use out of it."

Her brows make a soft bow above her eyes. "Armour? Those things are so cumbersome. They do give protection to the body on several places. Though, I do not own any armour nor has my interest been anywhere in that direction. I will give it a try if I had some armour to use. Perhaps the two Lords may know a solution to that."

The apprentice spoke with a slight disappointed undertone. "Wearing of armour would make it less possible to make a good disguise. It would make it impossible to travel as a commoner. I will leave it then. Orcs and Demons did attack everything not of their own kind. It does make me wonder, are there no Orcs that are willing to live in peace?"

Aeshinera was in thought, thinking about the various things she heard about of others travels. "Since we are not leaving for directly, do you have any suggestions to fill in the passing time? Perhaps sharing information, familiarising with each other, having a walk, being on the roof or anything else?"

"Let us talk for a while to pass the time. At our last meeting, you spoke of your family. How did they fare in the attack on Taloh?" replied Galliban. She paused for a moment, considering that the question might make Aeshinera uncomfortable. "Of course, you do not have to answer if you do not wish. I would only know if you would have me know." she added. Galliban had wanted to ask about Aeshinera's family before, but she hadn't had the oppurtunity to do so. Of course, she would understand if she didn't want to talk about it.

"My family.. They lived the attack, yet, when I returned to the estate, I discovered that they had joined the Thorns. I was surprised. So much can change over just a few days. I did not ask the details about how they lived through it. I do know that they were against the attack that was planned upon Taloh on the night of chaos. What I do not understand is why they did not assist in the fight against the demons. I guess you can say I am somewhat disappointed in my family. I feel somewhat left out as well, they are all Thorns and I am the only one not a Thorn. I feel the Thorns can really tear families apart," she replied on the inquiry about her family. Unhurried she took a chair and placed it near Galliban. With a welcoming smile she said: "Since we are passing our time talking, we might as well have a seat."

With a somewhat lesser volume while still crystal clear she told her somewhat personal information. "I had lost my friends, my first friends and it was such a short time as well. Their names were La'Lane she is some sort of comatose state and Niniel who vanished at the entrance to the Temple of the Mother during the night of conflagration. While I try to hide it, I feel quite lonely. To discover that my family had joined the Thorns did not add much good to it either. How is your family, do you have many friends?"

"Thank you." Galliban said when Aeshinera placed a chair in front of her. She took a seat and continued to listen in silence to Aeshinera.

"It is unfortunate that your family joined the Thorns, but I glad to hear that they survived the attack. People have different reactions to crisis, as I am sure you know. Sometimes they do things that may seem rash to us, but reasonable to them. It must be difficult to lose so much in such a short period of time.

"I have no living family, at least no immediate family. I was an only child and my parents died years ago. It is possible that I have some relatives living in the land of my birth, though I cannot say with any certainty. I cannot say that I have many friends, either. I had a mentor during my training for whom I care very much, but she is a long way from here. There was another paladin named Thean with whom I worked during my training. He was an experienced paladin and an exceptional man, and I looked up to him. He is dead now. Before my training, I lived for some time in the city of Adzerik on the isle of Muchislie. I had a few friends there, mostly priests." the young paladin related. She did not speak with much emotion, which may have seemed odd considering the subject matter. Perhaps it was that Galliban was learning better not to dwell on the past, or perhaps she was detached on purpose.

"Yes, it is difficult to come through such tragedy. I try not to think to much of it else it would only drag me down even more."

Aeshinera spoke with careful wording. "Listening to your words makes it clear that your past had been full of hardships as well. You do not have to share anything you do not feel like opening to someone else." A moment of short silence added to the last word. Her voice change, it was lowered and a bit waving like the ocean. It was like she was saddened about the global situation of Tazlure. "It seems that in these current times many carry scars of the past and are forced to live with it one way or another. The time of mending all the scars and wounds on the world should come soon else I fear that the ages will only be dark."

The apprentice tried her best to get her positive mood up and spoke with a happy expression. "What about lighting some positive subjects in the conversation; it would otherwise just feel so depressing, do you not feel so? Do you have any hobbies, perhaps a favourite animal? My hobbies if you can call them like that are just wondering around in nature looking for new flora, I guess my career is part of my hobby as well. My favourite animal is a wolf, however also the fantastic horses, like unicorns and pegasi."

It was almost as if the acolyte had put herself over the depressing moment of a while ago. She continued with words of happiness and love. "My love lies strongly with nature. I cherish the purity of nature. However I feel that the nightly view of nature engulfs my feeling more than in day. Sometimes it is like the moon has some special magic to the scenery I experience. Oh, what kind of scenery do you like and what kind of things are you drawn too?"

For a moment she closed her eyes slowly. Perhaps she could be a friend? Would she feel that way? I feel afraid to ask. I wonder how she would feel about it. After the thoughts were passed she opened her eyes as fast as they closed.

Galliban gave Aeshinera a small smile when she suggested changing the subject. She was not uncomfortable talking about her past, but she preferred conversing on happier topics.

"I have a love of lore, especially philosophy and theology. It was this love in part that lead me to become a devotee of my god," she replied. "I also have an affection for nature. As a child, my parents would take me into the hills of the Northlands outside of the city to play. At night, I liked to watch the fireflies. I must admit that no place I have ever been matches the natural beauty of this country, though. It is unfortunate that I am not able to see it under better circumstances."

With a nod she added on the conversation. "Philosophy and theology, yes, I love those too although not as strongly as my affection to nature. I do want to know all I can about the Mistress of the Leaves. I am trying to study the culture of fairies, my divine Mother relates with them thus it is very important to me."

A look of curiosity came over her face the emotion did not stay back in her words either. "I have never left T'Aquar, I wanted to see the outside lands some day. Yet a lot of things have bounded me here again. Could you tell me about how nature looks like were you are from?"

She prefixed the continuity with an innocent laugh. Her voice was almost like a happy young child. It was not often that she spoke like this, yet the situation she was in was quite rare her. "How are the mountains and what kind of games are fun to play there? Myself, I played in the forest on many different locations. I just did a few games that could be done by oneself. In my past I had nobody to play with. It were very simple games that I just made up by the day. I played one game witch sometimes continued on other days. It was like role-playing an adventure outside of the forest, I played this with my dolls. Even though all my knowledge of the outside came from hearsay of travellers I just improvised to make it work good."

"The Northlands of the country of Dort, where I spent my childhood, is home to rolling green hills as far as the eye can see. Farther north, away from the city, the hills give way to plains upon which lies an ancient abbey built in honor of the Mother," Galliban replied. "The northern isles of Muchislie is where the city of Adzerik lies. It is there that I spent my adolescence. The northern isles are not so lush, for they are covered by prairies and small fields. The southern isles are a mass of forests. Then there is the country of Kislovan, which is the land of my birth. I do not remember this place, as I was an infant when I left it. My parents told me of it. It is a place of tropical forests, plains, hills, and mountains. I wish to go there some day, if only to set eyes on such a place."

Quite overjoyed and anxious she spoke up about the new learned knowledge. "I am curious how the hills would feel to be in, I am quite interested in visiting that location some day. All the other locations you told me about sound interesting as well. There is truly much to see outside this forest."

Aeshinera noticed that some questions were left in the dark. Certainly she had asked quite a bit, perhaps this was a hint for her to let the other side put some fresh topics in the dialogue. Somewhat calmed she continued to add to the conversation. "Are there any things you would like to ask me? Perhaps you want to direct the conversation to another topic? Otherwise it sounds like I am just inquiring you about various things only, would it not? Do not feel restrained in asking questions, if it is to my knowledge I will answer them."

Galliban realized that she must have seemed a bit non-social with her silence. She was far more accustomed to large amounts of time spent in meditation and prayer rather than conversation. It was not that she did not enjoy a good conversation, but she so rarely had the opportunity for it.

"I noticed that you have a flute in your possession," she said, changing the subject once again. "Do you play? I myself have never had the opportunity to learn how to play an instrument, but I have a certain affection for music. Regrettably, it has been a while since I have heard good music."

"I can only play one song. I do not know how to read music nor do I create my own music. My mother taught me this song when I was very little. I play this song when I am happy wondering around in a beautiful surrounding." A silence of a few heartbeats followed. The current times do not provide much to feel happy about. Tragedy, war, corruption and more all these things are so depressing. She refocused on the conversation again. "One day, I may be able to play the flute in more ways then one."

"I love certain types of musical instrument over others. Those are the harp and he flute, are there any instruments you prefer over others?"

OOC: I understand, but I'm still sorry to lose you!

IC: "I like the sound of the flute very much," Galliban replied. "Its sound can be either a gentle breeze or a gale, or both at once. I know of no other instrument that can do the same." she continued. Her tone then became introspective. "One can most readily find beauty in that which lives and moves. Music moves, music is constant movement. Even when a single note is sustained, there is movement within it. Music itself is in complete defiance of entropy."

Galliban paused for a moment, then yawned.

"I am sorry," she said, covering her mouth. "It has been a long day. Perhaps it would be best if I slept a little before we depart. Is there anything else of which you would like to speak before I retire?"

OOC: *hugs schez* Don’t worry; I would have loved it if you could stay but it is ok, I guess.. You need to move yourself through a crowd of work. Do not stress yourself ok?

IC: The apprentice gave a nod in agreement. “Music is a sort of magic that can influence the emotions. Music can influence people, animals and plants.”

Aeshinera became a bit worried when Galliban produced a yawn. So she is tired. Is there anything else I need to ask? Hmm.. I do not think so. Nothing that can wait. “Yes, there is something. When and where will we meet again? I guess in the meantime I will stay in the room or be on the roof were we had the creation theory story.”

"Come to my room at dawn, and do not be shy about knocking forcefully on my door. Then we shall go together to see to the preparations that have been made," Galliban replied, then rose from her seat and approached the door. She turned back to her companion just as she reached the door. "Our conversation has done me good. Thank you and good night, Aeshinera." she added. With that, Galliban left the Shaper's room and proceeded to her own to get a much needed night of sleep.

OOC: Feel free to add on if you want to, Aesh. I just wanted to wrap this up for Yin's sake, as it might be easier for him to start us fresh on a new thread.
