"Of course," Jadmai said to the woman that he suddenly found quite cold, "your objective, it's what I am being used for."

You may be beginning to find her more than annoying, but you have to admit Jadmai, you've always wanted to kiss a human lady. He thought with a dark humor.

"I will lead us around the guards."

Jadmai took though through the lush meadow, and as his mood darkened so did the forest around them. After they were a safe distance from the guards, Jadmai led them closer to the wall that guarded the city, so that they were riding along it.

Suddenly, they spotted something very out of place: large double doors made from metal.

Jadmai tried the handle that was on the door.

"It's not locked--should take us right into the city. C'mon."

Jadmai helped Rose dismount and led her to the doors, he open them with them great effort, propped the door open with his body, and guided Rose through, then slid in himself.

It was pitch black.

Then, the doors opened, onto the a most unexpected scene: A ballroom with a wide dance floor, an adhiel waltzed being played by a full orchestra. The ceilcing were high, and chandielers adorned them at set intervals, the floors were made of black marble. Many tables and chairs with velvet table clothes were set up, however, nearly all of them were empty as the dance floor was full.

A man at the door peered in, and Jadmai felt very underdressed until he looked down, to notice he was not only cleanly bathed, with his hair trimmed and combed back, but he was dressed finely in black leather britches tailored, it seemed for just him. He wore a grey velvet vest, with a fancy black tunic underneath. Jadmai looked at Rose, and she seemed dressed for the occassion as well.

The man at the door tilted his head, and asked, "And how shall I annouce the Lord and the Lady."

Jadmai stopped for a second stunned by the question, and though he could kill on whim he could not lie very well. He glanced at Rose, and back at the man and shrugged, "I am Jadmai Av'Zathrak." He paused, letting his eyes give a sidelong glance at Rose, "Royal Ambassador of Amun Rah."

She probably expected that as much as this damn ballroom

It was unexpected of course, but nothing ever caught Rosalie Lo Russo unawares and so.. her attire simply adapted, back into what it was. A ballroom dress of deep burgundy velvet with a dazzling neckline and of course a magnificent bustle. Her hair was gathered up and complimented by a wonderful mask, decorated by two feathered wings on either side. The lady was petite but it was hardly noticable along smaller dark adhiel. Small though she was, her presence was almost intimidating. Her amber eyes looked over the entire room with amber eyes.

Rosalie looked at Jadmai, in his new entire. He was...to die for. Of course Rose would never admit this. Calmly she announced, her chin up "Rosalie Lo Russo, the Ambassador of the Western Kingdom." Her mind swam. She knew politicians were murderers, but for one to admit it...
