MySpace Junkies unite!
Well...I use MySpace occasionally...mostly for blogging purposes...but my wife is an absolute addict and spends a great deal of time doing polls, quizzes, creating layouts, etc. Just made me curious who else here is a junkie.
Well, I am present on MySpace, but mostly just for showing-support/interest-of/in-a-few-artists purposes, and a li'l bit of friend-bonding...
My main blogging (or rather: ranting-and-using-many-many-four-letter-words-or-combinations-thereof) space is on livejournal; and I keep a profile over at journalfen for Fandom Wank purposes...

Apparently you have not been in the chat for my infamous statement of "MySpace is the devil!!!!" every time someone mentions the site. It was not nearly as bad back in the early days before the influx of spammers has ruined the site. I get at least 10 friend requests every week that have sites that say 'View my webcam'.
and no I don't view their webcams.

How about, I don't care?
I have an MSN space that I don't update anymore. And I'm on facebook, mostly to show off my photography and find old friends.

I have a MySpace, but it's more because I have several people that I want to update that are there but not on livejournal (my second biggest addiction). LJ I've been on since 2000 and it's where I keep in touch with most of my friends, keep track of my own life and things like that. I like that I can friendslock everything and not have to worry about idiots spamming me 30 times a day.

I have an account but never use it. I do however use LJ and facebook a lot - facebook is de rigeur in Oxford, and it's pretty useful for contacting people you've met a few times but wouldn't have their mobile number or whatever. I also find it useful in terms of photo sharing and organising parties. Myspace just seems a bit messy to me.

You know I have never even looked at facebook. I have a lot of friends from mmorpg's that swear by it as well. Since the quality of people on Tazlure is much higher then the drivel I normally game with perhaps it is time for me to check it out.
Mind you if I don't like it I will be coming after you all with a torch, pitchfork, and a batallion of ninja monkies.

I'm there. I had friend create my page for me and I didn't use it much. Then it got deleted somehow, which I think is more to her creating with someone other than myself's email addy, than anything else.
I love it. I'm not addicted to it, although I do go on it almost everyday at least once. I've gotten back in touch with some old friends from high school, the old sword fighting group I used to be a part of, and old friends from places I used to live.
Face book my brother uses and swears by it, but one, I'm not in college, two I just don't feel like doing it. Or mainly three, because I'm too lazy to be bopthered with it. A friend got me into Cherry Tap too, but I've done nothing with it for the simple fact that I don't like people enough as it is, why would I want to be bothered with more of them.
My list consists of only friends and family, as well as a few players here like Tal, Fia, and Kiera. A few bands that I've met and hung out with, bands I used to play when I was a dj down in Florida and stuff...â„¢

And that doesn't happen here, Fia?
Of course, on myspace it'd be the jailbait 12 year olds getting the "friends" which is why I don't like it.

While you're there, you might also like to have a look at this storyline:

Comic 51 is called "The Seduction of the Innocent GM". Read it. You know you want to....
