Anna nodded. "Alright, sir. I'll see you tonight," she said with a big smile, her fingers knotting together as he mentioned her hands. She looked down at them, and then brushed some stray hair away from her face. "I'll do my best to find him, I promise you. For you and for me," she said, a surity building in her that hadn't been there before.
Gathering up her courage she stepped away, looking down the long Avenue of Trade and remembering the path toward her father's home. It would be easiest to take care of him first. She took a deep breath and started walking. After a few paces a thought occured to her. "Sir!" She called over to him, and retreated back over to his company before he'd gotten too far.
"I.. don't know your name."
