The letter is addressed to several large grain merchants.
Gentleman,
An unique opportunity has arisen in Pax. Currently, the city is in need of our surplus grain and is willing to enter in a contract for some of the more needed materials in our community. We can enter discussions for securing grain prices and such to our advantage within the next week or so. With the materials being ship in way of boat, we should see faster traveling time and an increase reaction rate in our orders for materials. Also the recent increase and lack of materials have hurt the carter’s guild and the local blacksmith’s. If you wish to continue with talks and setting prices, please reply with aforementioned surplus grain you are willing to sale and at what price for milled and un-milled.
However, if you wish to send a representative of the guild please do in all post haste, at which time we will discuss my finder’s fee.
Your friend in trade,
Torc Blackfoot
