Scatha grinned at Lirahn's mild rebuke; her father had used to tell her off for yelling in Dort, saying to stirred the cattle up and made them restless. "What's an elk?" she asked, getting to her feet and following Lirahn. "We don't have them in Dort - only cattle and deer. Are they fierce?" She shot a glance at Hex; "I didn't know your brother was an armourer," she said with interest. "Does he make spears and such like?"

Hex, after a little beer is not one to be ignored.

"Lirahn..." Hex said in a clear and cool tone looking up at the larger man. Her eyes had slimed just a touch and her demeanor had taken on a disposition as hard as rock.

"I think I asked you a question about the Caesar's envoy.."

Glancing over to Scatha, smoothing her hardness and giving her a warm smile..

"Elk my sweet are like a large dear, and yes, my brother will make you any weapon you desire."

Cocking her head back to Lirahn Hex's face returned to stone, waiting for her answer...

Arvana waits for everyone to stop talking, so they can get going. She hasn't gone for a hunt in a while. Her dad used to go with her all the time. She watches everyone talking, and stands, hoping someone will stand up with her and get ready to go.

(ooc soooo sorry. I cant really think at the moment...my life is going downhill and I am trying to do sooo many things at once. I hope you dont mind my poor posting skills right now. The next post, i promise will be better.)

OOC: I think the planets must be aligned in such a way that everyone is having a hard time of it now. My grandmother just passed away a week ago, and my brain has yet to recover.

Brynhild took a deep breath, and finally, her hiccupping subsided. She turned to Arvana and Scatha. "Yeah, they're real big deer with big antlers," and she held her hands out by her head, thumbs pointing in and fingers spread in imitation. "Good eatin' too," then she subsided at the strength of Hex' query.

"Fierce . . . no. no more fierce than you are wee miss." Lirahn winked at the small blonde and brushed some crumbs from his beard. "Let's get goin then me brother, and escort thess ladies to the smithy." Hex asked him yet again about the Caesar and his back stiffened. "Ye make no mind o' that Da'Bergliin, shouldn't nary hae been said, but me tongue gets away from me at times." Evan nodded his face resolute. "Aye, to be talking about the Caesar is to stir up trouble, an we don't want no trouble. I'm sure ye'll find out all ye need to find out tomorrow. Beg pardon." The smaller Waelkyridge bowed in front of Hex before walking to the door. He turned to the elf. "Would ye like ta come with me Arvana?" He asked pleasantly, holding out a rough hand for her to take. Lirahn picked up his satchel smiling at his little cousin. "What about you Brynhild? Ye long for some fresh air or would ye rather sit in 'ere all the live long day drinkin it away?"

Scatha grinned; "They must be very fierce then," she remarked as she followed Lirahn outside. "You should see some of the bulls in Dort; huge black beasts, with long sharp horns that can stick straight through a man. Easy enough to handle when they've got a ring through their nose, though..." A sudden thought struck her; "Do you use the hides from the elks for making whips?"

Hex sat casually while the others gathered themselves. Waiting for Ellena to decide what she was going to do, Hex let her hand slip from Brynhild's waist, slowly rubbing the small of her back, only to pause and move up to her shoulder. Giving it a small squeeze, Hex let her rough hand slide slowly back down to the position it started in on Brynhild's waist. Not ever looking directly at Brynhild , Hex let her hand work in a small massage as she moved it around, feeling her warmth through her garments, and the firmness of her young body...

Finishing her drink, she waited for the decisions to be made...

With that, she slipped away, smiling shyly at Hex. "I think I'll follow my cousins and take the fresh air. Besides," she added, licking her lips in mock anticipation, "some roast elk would make a good dinner, and I could use the bowmanship practice." With that, she followed her cousins out the door, but not without giving Hex a parting wink. ;)

Hex could sense that perhaps Brynhild was not quite ready for her, but then few have been. It was then that a most amusing thought sprung inside of her head. Leaping up she grabbed Lirahn through his arm at the elbow, spinning him so that she could also hook her arm into Evan's.

"Well boys it seems that this little party wants to stop by my home. Please allow me to show you the way and escort you along."

Looking from one of the male da`Waelkyrige's to the other and giving Brynhild a wink..

"Shall we? I want to see the look on fathers face when I bring two men home."

Hex's face erupted in a grin and she through her head back and laughed so hard that her knees started to buckle. Looking over to Scatha and Arvana..

"Come, lets see if my sisters can make you look like native women and get you some proper hunting clothes.."

Arvana nods to Evan and was just about to respond to his question, when Hex jumped up and hooked her arm through Evans. Looking down at her clothing, she smiles at Hex's offer. "Would like. Then I give these clothes back." She moves over to the door waiting for the others to follow, then follows behind the group as she has no idea where to go.

Lirahn though for a moment on Scatha's question then realised the little tart was probably jostling him around. A grin lit up his rugged face. "Nay we missy, we use for clothes and the like . . . mayhap them cute boots ye is wearing was once the skin o' a elk." He gave his cousin a smart look noticing the way the da'Bergliin lass familarized herself with his cousin's form. That was a pity . . Lirahn wouldn't mind having the strong woman for himself . . . all that red hair was bound to bring him a bounty of luck.

Evan wrapped an arm around Arvana's escorting her out the door when suddenly his other arm was grasped by Hex, he looked startled a moment before smiling sheepishly at her words. Lirahn ever the jabbering fool couldn't stop himself from speaking. "Aye, me own family be pretty pleased to see me walking with you. All the luvly red hair o' yours. Be a fine thing to touch at night." He winked at Hex, not feeling put out by her dominance in the least. He watched Ellena looking a bit out of place and offered his free arm to her. "Well fine lassie, would ye mind takin me other arm and making me twice as blessed. A man with a red-head on each arm is sure to bring home enough food for nearly a yahren!"

Ajiira waved them away, shaking her head at the Wood Elf's offer to return the clothes. "Wouldn't hear of it, you don't have many normal clothes I'm guessing and unless you plan on making Trothgard a permanent home you will need regular attire at some point." The blonde slave watched them walk out the door with a bit of sadness wishing she too could wander out whenever she pleased.

The sun was bright as the large group went out into the dirt road that marked the main travelway through Rimehold. "Well m'lady Hex if you'd be so kind as to escort us poor sods to your home we'd be grateful." Lirahn looked at the da'Bergliin with cow eyes, but there was a glint of mischief behind that look.
