Celestine was curious about the situation with Vanir and Aesa, but it wouldn't really do any good to probe. Besides, he sounded like it was in hand so she filed it away and moved on.

She turned and smiled. "Well, since we have until morning, I suppose we should discuss in detail the sacred rituals of happiness and pleasure." She grinned, pressing her soft and curvy front against him, even though she was very petite and had to look up to grin at him. "After all, Lady Eliish told me to learn and grow, did she not?"

Vanir smiled as Celestine pressed herself against him. A soft, secudtive voice filled her ears. "Yes, I do believe she did. I would be glad to teach you more, but first I must know where to start. Why don't you show me what you know already, then I will teach you more?"

Vanir stepped back from Celestine, curious to see what she would demonstrate for him. "I am certain that you know plenty already, so I am just interested to see. I shall make it easy on you though." Vanir daftly removed his clothing for her, laying it in a pile to the side. The hard flesh of the priest sprang forth in his natural state, eager for the petite blonde.

Celestine smiled. "Maybe we should save the lesson for my private quarters? After all, we wouldn't want Isa or someone else to barge in right in the middle of the lesson." She lightly ran her hand down his chest, looking up at him.

Vanir smiled softly and dressed himself. "I suppose you are right, Lady Celestine. I shall follow you to your quarters and teach you all that I know. I hope you learn well or I may have to schedule you for another lesson." A playful girn upon his lips as he moved towards her. He placed an arm around her waist and kissed her deeply. "Please lead on."

Vanir followed her to her quarters and then whispered softly. "Now where do you wish to start?"

Celestine smiled as she slipped out of the sari-like outfit that Temple attendants wore and leaned into him, kissing him full on the mouth. She looked up after the kiss. "Well, I could use lessons in how to express my desire to share Joy with another. I'm kind of shy around other people when it comes to that, and I'm sure you don't always want to have to be the one who starts these...lessons." She lightly stroked his face and raised her hands to his chest to help him remove his shirt.

Vanir held Celestine close as she kissed him, lightly exploring her mouth. He allowed her to remove his shirt as he pondered her question. The playful bard then slipped one arm around her waist, occasionally squeezing her bottom. The other hand moved up to cup her breast softly, teasing her nipple between his thumb and forefinger.

"Well it is not as simple as most panlings make it seem. You have to learn to read what a person wants, which I had to learn myself. The rest comes with finding the boldness to offer what you know they want. I was able to read you the first night we met. Do you think you can be bold enough to offer such gifts to one you know wants?"

Celestine considered for a moment while Vanir felt her. "Hmmm. I think it would depend on the situation. I couldn't just offer it to them in the middle of the Caesar's throne room, but I could approach them privately. It helps if I know them a little first." She thought back to Amber and Jenaie and blushed a bit as she kissed down his chest lightly. Things with Amber and Jenaie and him had just moved along so quickly!

Vanir sighed softly as Celestine kissed his chest. He he rubbed her bottom with one hand, while the other ran through her blonde hair. The priest spoke softly to his young apostle.

"You are most right, my lovely Celestine. You must be careful of what you say in public these days, sometimes even in private you must be careful. Learn what your revered mate wants and provide it for them. You will meet some that wish for companionship and some a kind word, yet even more that seek to share in your beauty. When you feel that the other person desires you, then you may offer them such gifts." The bard then reached down to undo the strings of his trousers, leaving them loose around his waist.

Celestine's breath caught at the ministrations of her teacher. She felt his pants sliding down against her skin, even as her hands reached up to slide down her sari. She couldn't help a sad, bitter smile at the mention of her beauty. "I don't know of many who would want a scarred woman, Vanir."

She let her hands slide down his stomach towards his manhood. "But I understand what you are saying." She regained the beauty of her smile as her hands began to explore. "Pan blesses me, as he blesses us all, with his passion. From what I've seen of the court, there are many in need of passion, both physical and otherwise." She kissed his lips firmly, pressing closer to him to let his naked skin brush against her own.

Vanir kissed her deeply as he felt his hardness press against her thigh. He could feel the warmth of her womanhood against his flesh. When the kiss he broke, he looked tenderly into her eyes and spoke in a sweet, honest voice. "You are beautiful to me, Celestine, and to anyone else that knows you. You are worth any noble girl and I cannot imagine a greater joy than having you as my lover." He leaned down to kiss her lips softly.

"You are learning more than most could hope for and I think you will do wonderfully. So what do you think I need?" The blue eyes of the bard sparkled with mischief as he rubbed her bottom. "Show me what you have learned from your lovers."

Celestine smiled. "I think you need passion." She lightly pushed him onto the bed to begin the sharing of Joy that she had so recently learned. Light kisses became heavier, more intensive ones. Hands roamed freely, gently stroking, before she gave herself to him to fully share the Joy.

A very subtle knock came at the door to Celestine's apartments, quiet and respectful due both to the suddenness of the intrusion as well as the late mark at which it had come. "Mistress Celestine," came the voice of a cautious young attendant. "There is a pilgrim in the foyer that begs to speak with a priest. Shall I bid him return in the morningtide, or shall I have him wait for father Vanir's guidance?" came the soft question, the acolyte clearly excited about the flurry of activity in the faded, often vacant temple.

Celestine was startled out of her passion by the sudden knock. She had to clamp her lips very tightly to prevent from releasing an adhiel curse as she tilted her head behind her to look at the door. Since when did she become "Mistress Celestine" anyways?

She let out a sigh of disappointed frustration as she climbed off of Vanir and started searching for her clothes. "Sorry Vanir. Duty calls." She gave him a sad smile, then looked at the door. "Please tell the pilgrim to wait, I'll be there shortly!"

Vanir enjoyed the kisses and touching of the young page, yet it was only leading to the invetiable. He moaned softly as she finally pressed herself down upon him. The soft knocking at the door caught the priest off-guard, before he had a chance to release his passion. He laughed softly at the attendant's request and Celestine prompt response.

Vanir slid behind Celestine and wrapped his arms around her waist, the hard flesh of the bard pressed against her backside. He whispered softly in the adhiel girl's ear. "My dear Celestine, I shall attend to the pilgrim, but we should finish our passionor neither will be in any shape to help anyone. It is a very bad place to leave off, don't you agree?" He lowered one of his hands to her wet curls, teasing them softly.

"We don't want the pilgrim to leave Vanir. It's our obligation as servants of Pan to embrace those who seek us out, especially now." She sighed, pressing herself back against him. "Sometimes that means we might have to suspend our own Joy to spread the Love of Pan." She turned to face him, still squirming from his teasing. "Besides, the pilgrim might be an attractive lady interested in sharing Joy." She winked.

Vanir grinned at his lover and spoke softly. "Always thinking of others, my dear. It is one of your best qualities. Very well, I shall wait to finish our evening and see to the stranger."

Vanir dressed only in his trousers and shirt, not bothering to fully dress. He assisted Celestine in dressing, using the oppertunity to tease her some more. The priest then led her downstairs to greet to visitor to the Temple.

"Was there someone seeking a priest?" He asked politely.

The acolyte, a nervous young boy that seemed somewhat excited and flushed with activity, smiled with great relief when Vanir emerged. The boy's name was Noland, and he was once a student at the University of Magick though he had left that institution under...questionable circumstances. Bowing, he motioned towards the foyer with a small, brass lamp, his nervous steps drawing him forward and giving the soft, warm light to bounce and shake.

"Oh, thank the trickser, father Vanir! There is a strange man resting at the alter of Pan's Arts. He speaks of some trouble, and he's..." the boy glanced over at the relgious patriarch. "He is cursed, it seems, for I see a spirit with him!" he confessed, superstitious words that were very uncharacteristic in the otherwise worldly and mundane young man.

Sure enough, the sounds of another acolyte, though she held far more experience than Noland, could be heard up ahead beyond the foyer, where the central alter of Pan was located. Already, Vanir could see another novice comforting and entertaining a visitor with the alter just nearby.

Celestine had escorted the nervous boy back to her chambers, wondering what had spooked him so badly in the main foyer. She didn't bother to make apologies for the rumpled bedsheets as she sat down on a corner of the bed. It was her room after all, and in the Temple of Pan. He should understand the Joys that Panlings could and did share.

She fixed him with her violet gaze when she had seated herself. "Noland, what seems to be troubling you?"

Ya, wonder why that one could see me, huh? And what's this I see around the woman? thought the little leaf faerie as it lept and danced after the pair, leaving Finodborn and Vanir to their discussions of war and battles and blood letting. The pair retreated behind a door, which closed firmly in Tseh's way. Poo! Nope, nope...I wanna SEE! declared Tseh instantly, floating up and touching the door to give it sudden life such that it could slip in.<hr>"Ah...sister Celestine..." the young man began, his eyes still darting towards her closed door as his apprehension remained firmly fixed upon his face. He had closed her door firmly as if he might use it to hold his fear at bay. "I swear it, I saw something! It was...small, and insubstantial...but it was there, and it was...not a creature the likes of which I've seen before!" he declared, leaning his form against her wall as if he were fatigued. If he noticed or cared about the state of her bed, he gave no indication of it, for Noland had resided in the temple for at least a yahren.

"You...you know I once studied at the University? The University of Magics? I saw things there, too, but not like this. This was...like a spirit or a spell that danced and played around the strange visitor like a halo or a guardian. It...it isn't natural, but...I'm worried for Father Vanir. What if it's...dangerous?" he declared, his voice lowering as if he were speaking secrets.

Click! Squeeeek... despite the door being closed behind them...Noland had been quite certain of that...it now seemed to fall open of it's own accord, as if the wind or faulty hinges had given it to do so though Celestine had not seen it do so before. Noland reacted instantly, jumping perhaps a full pace in the air before he retreated over to the girl, his pulse racing and his eyes fixed upon the suddenly haunted door. "Pan's hooves! I...I don't see it. Does...that happen often, sister Celestine?!?"

Celestine frowned thoughtfully after she recovered from the start the creaking door had given her. "Not that I know of." She'd been prepared to suggest that Noland speak to one of the older, more experienced clergy, but the sudden opening of the door had the priest so rattled that she decided that she'd have to at least try to comfort him.

"I did see or sense a presence here the other day though." She didn't add that that presence had led her into a demonic trap. That would just spook Noland more. Taking a deep breath and crossing her mental fingers, she gently reached out to wrap the magic about her like a protective cloak, then to try and see if there was anything here beyond the young priest's fears.

"S...Sense a presence? Like a spirit or a ghost? Or a...D...demon? Can they come here, sister Celestine?!? Surely nothing harmful can follow us within! How could such a thing happen?" asked the youth, his voice unsteady and his convictions growing more and more uncertain with every passing moment. The door remained ajar, with only the flickering torchlight of the hallway invading within, it's amber glow almost hypnotic and soothing to the young woman such that it made her focus more easily attained.

Focusing her mind, Celestine had only some difficulty in perceiving the magic around her...though she had some difficulty shaping it to her will. Still, she could see...and it was that sight that gave her to notice that something was inappropriate near the door...a sparkling trail of dancing lights, tiny like grains of sand, that winked and blinked as they fell around in a trail leading from the door to her bed...and under it.<hr>Better! Now...wheres to get close? Hmm...here is a place! remarked the faery, as it danced forward and slid under the bed quickly. It latched upon the boards above and climbed along, seeking a fitting place it might poke up and spy upon the pair. Adhiels and humans speak of Tseh? Have seen Tseh before? No no no no no! Tseh never sees them ever! She lies...or she sees something else?

Celestine had been about to tell Noland of the presence that had lured her into the demon's trap, but thought better of it at the last minute. The poor man was jumpy enough. Instead she focused on her magical vision, even though shaping the magic was proving harder than she might have liked at the moment.

When she spotted the trail of sparkles she grew curious, and a bit apprehensive. She watched as it flitted under her bed, then she stood up, knelt, and looked under the bed for it. "Who are you? Why are you under my bed?" Her voice was calm and she held up a hand to forestall any panicking from Noland.

So it doesn't see me, silly! giggled Tseh, as it quickly dodged up into the bed itself, slipping through the wooden stretchers and into the mattress itself. While Celestine caught site of the creature's trail slipping up into her bed...it moved into the bed from below, a simple maneuver for that which was spiritual in nature...she also managed to catch a glimpse of the creature itself, or at least the aura it left in it's wake. It was a golden, green aura, rich and vibrant, with mirth and amusement echoing from it...a vision that gave her to believe the creature to be utterly harmless, though it spoke nothing of the creature's intentions or nature.

"Wha...where is it?!?" bellowed Noland, as he stood up upon her bead and cast his own gaze around. Instantly, Celestine saw something unusual about the boy, a flow of power through him that, while weak and faint, was as certain and constant as the river flow or the sunrise. "Is it under the bed?!?" he exclaimed, backing up to the very far corner of the matress such that he could keep it entirely in his field of vision.

Tseh gave the boy a fright, came a tinkling voice in Celestine's ear. While the voice could not be human, it was full of concern and an almost child-like mirth. Tseh will sneak out, but Tseh smells the stinks of dark ones upon you! Tseh warns you! Dark one comes...he will visit you and you will suffer, for it walks within the alters three, and it covets you...seeks to do ugly things to you! Now Tseh goes...

Celestine gasped as the being moved into her bed, then came around to her. She noticed Noland's energy flow but she was too caught up in what the creature...Tseh?...was saying.

"Wait! The Dark One? What is he? What does he want with me? And what are these altars three? Could you please explain to me...Tseh?" She sounded out the name carefully, waving for Noland to be silent and let her handle this.

As an acolyte of Pan, Celestine knew a few things about some of the more pastoral pursuits of Pan. But she also knew a few things about Pan's other aspects, those less common to the ordinary adherent. One of those aspects was one of the Protector...while another was the aspect of the Trickster. She knew the little spirit climbing around under her bed was certainly not malevolent...but a tinkling giggle proved that it was certainly enjoying itself, and mischief was clearly in it's heart...and she would have known that whether she followed the Trickster God or not.

Hehehehe! tinkled the little voice, as it clawed it's way through the bed to emerge from the top, pushing Celestine's disheveled sheets before it such that it's tiny form could be obscurely discerned in the physical world as it hopped along the bed, a little figure wrapped in a bed sheet. It bounced towards Noland, clearly amused a the fright it gave him. Hehehehe! Tseh knows little of the Dark One, though it will come to you to claim you! Will you surrender to it? Will you give your soul to heal the hurts from long ago? it shouted, it's tiny voice coming to her ears alone as Noland cowered and shrieked at the approaching blanket, reaching out to grasp the pitcher upon Celestine's wash stand. "Stay back! STAY BACK!" he begged, the little bundle of sheets hoping closer to him.
