ART POLICY

Tazlure likes to stimulate the submission of art derived from Tazlure, or inspired by Tazlure. You can view our art gallery at www.tazlure.nl/art/. If you want to submit art please use the Drawing Bard. Once your submission is accepted it will be hosted on our site.

The following rules apply:

1) All submitted art must be completely by your own hand.  You cannot use stock photo's. It can also not be based on celebrity photo's, paintings by famous artists etc. Any use of 3-D programs like Poser, or picture manipulation programs like Photoshop need to be declared.


2) In other words: the work of art must be completely original, save that it is derived or inspired by Tazlure. This means that your work of art cannot be a direct tracing or copying in whole or in part any existing work of art that you do not own the intellectual property of. This has always been part of our Terms of Service but are spelled out in this policy as a service to our users.

By posting your material for our use in the Drawing Bard (and we'll check it if is intended for our use), you agree to the fact our staffmembers will check if the material used is completely original and not in violation of any copyright law. Art found to be in violation will be removed.

3) All art submitted will fall under our first right clause: Tazlure may use the art at her own descretion on any part of the site or future sites, without monetary compensation. This includes any use of your art as e-card, merchandise, advertisement etc. Remember you used copyrighted Tazlure as your inspiration, and so we think our use of your art is fair. The art will remain your intellectual property so you may use it elsewhere if you follow the guidelines in our Fair Use policy for derivative art in the Term of Service, such as declaring such use and linking back to us.

4) Subject matter : Nudity and violence are acceptable, provided they are done in taste and with moderation, not gloryfing certain crimes or so graphic it could be defined as gory. You are allowed to make portraits of NPC's or use scenes from Tazlure's past.
