It seems that a simple question from Miklos Tsale about the existance of pickles had led to great discusson and debate.
For example from Abner Klopp:
Thanks to Wikipedia, I discovered a pickle timeline which places the first use of pickles at least 3000 years ago and documents theor prominent use in Europe by the 15th century.
So, yes, I'd say it is safe to assume that pickles exist in Tazlure.
Thus the question:

My brother, sister, and I used to fight over the pickled onions and cauliflower in the sweet pickles. The onions don't taste good when they're in a jar by themselves though.
It is my absolute favorite pickled dish. My grandma used to grow okra in her garden every year and I would get my own jar of pickled okra every summer. *drools again*

Well I voted for garlic dill but my favorite cucumber pickles are the ones I jarred myself with my cousin Milan. Garlic, Dill and Jalepeno pepper in an apple cider vinegar brine for a bit of sweetness.
As for non cucumbers, I love pickled mushrooms, pickled artichokes and pickled asparagus. Pickled is my favorite way to eat many vegetables in fact.

Pickled anything. I went for garlic dill but staying in Singapore I like Kimchi as well

Branston Pickle beats everything else. No question.
Wikipedia wrote:Branston pickle is made from a variety of diced vegetables, including swede (rutabaga), onions, cauliflower and gherkins pickled in a sauce made from vinegar, tomato, apple and dates with spices such as mustard, coriander, garlic, cinnamon, pepper, cloves, nutmeg and cayenne pepper.

Okay, as I admitted in chat, I don't mind dill pickles (or gherkins, as we call them on this side of the pond) but only in burgers. And I will happily eat pickled ginger with my sushi.
