goldentree listened carefully because he knew that this is the only way that the captain will let him to stay on the ship. all the strange words confused goldentree but he thought he got the deal of it, although he'll sure need a lot of practice.

"emm... yes sir, i think i got the main idea, i think that until the end of this trip i will learn one thing or two about ships although i'm not sure it will help me where i'm going" goldentree looked a Samson and grinned

Samson nodded his head and then looked around the deck. "It is always good to know how to sail. You never know when that will come in handy. Well, let us work on the last tasks for the evening, so I can send you to the quarters."

The young man led Goldentree over to some barrells on the port side deck. "Take all these barrells down to the lazarette and properly stow them away. It is the storage room next to the galley, where I think they had placed you before. The room will be filled with chests and barrells as it is where we keep our cargo. Do you think you can find it? When you get all these barrells down there, come see me. I will be checking the lines."

OOC: Hi! erm.. i hade a lot of time thinking about what to wright i hope it's ok. :D

IC:"yes sir i think i will manage" goldentree said with a smile expecting this work to be easy...

He was wrong, the barrels were very heavy and it took goldentree a lot of time to move them to the cargo room, it took him a lot of time to arrange them in lines but after he finished he thought he did a fine job and went to see Samson.

On his way he pondered about this whole journey. He thought that about a week or two (he lost the track of time) he was in his worm home with his loving parents in the family field working hard but having fun and now he is on a large ship heading do somewhere he didn't knew but knew he wanted to go there.

For the first time memories from his childhood came to him, this was a surprise for him to see in his spirit's eyes him as a little boy. Fear of what will become next hade crept into his mind. All of his life he was somewhere near home and now he is a lot of marks away. he missed the company, everybody here looked at him in anger and he was sure he cant just come and talk to them. The only person the thought he can talk to is Samson but he didn't completely trusted him. When he walked he wondered about what is happening now at home and about the long and lonely way he have ahead of him.

He didn't want to admit it but he really missed pan isle, the island he waited about half of his life to get off. In a look backward he saw that this little isle wasn't so bad as he thought at the time, infect he thought that this will probably will be were he will grow old and he was sure he would come back. Tears were coming to his eyes but he didn't want to show signs of weakness so he wiped them with a quick move.

When he finally found Samson (the thought it took ages) he said to him "i'd finished my work sir, it took me a while but i think i managed pretty well", he smiled not revealing what's on his mind.

The strain from lifting and carrying the barrels had shown itself in Goldentree's arms. Both of his arms ached and felt as if they might just fall off from exhaustion. Memories flooded his mind and let him forget the pain temporaly. The thoughts soon faded away and he was left with the pain once more. The lazarette was dark and brooding, which seemed to only add to its eerie feel. It was the same room which Goldentree had woken up in. He had been taken on the ship and thrown in with the cargo.

Samson was up top, where he had stated. He was on the port side, checking all of the lines and knots. He was making sure everything had the proper tension and that the sails were filled properly. It took him a while to notice Goldentree.

"Yes? Are you finished? Good, good. Well that is all you had left to do this evening. I can imagine you are quite ready to rest."

Samson escorted Goldentree down below past the galley and lazarette. The hallway was long and dark, seeming to be endless without the proper light. He opened the door to a room filled with bunks, most of them filled. He showed Goldentree to one in the far corner that was not occupied. The young sailor spoke in a hushed tone, so he did not wake the others.

"This will be your bunk. You may rest here whenever you are released from your duties. Sleep well, because the days are long here." The young man added, before slipping back out of the room. Goldentree was now alone with the darkness.

Goldentree layed awake in his bunk, now that he layed there alone with himself he thought only about the pain in his arms with nothing to take his mind from it. This room reminded him the room he was supposed to sleep in the outpost and again memories rushed into his mind.

After a while of thinking about the past goldentree realized that he cant sleep, he was very tired after a day of hard work but somehow his eyes refused to close so he layed awake and glared at the ceiling.

He was in the forest near his house. He heard his mother calling for him to come to dinner, he rushed home but somehow his feet were caring him the other way, away from his house, he felt his legs leave the ground and walking on water. He screamed, he screamed as he never screamed before, he wanted to go home, back to his parents...

Goldentree woke up in his bunk, covered with cold sweat, he was sure this is early and he hadn't slept much but he knew that if he will go back to sleep this nightmare will come back so he got out of his bunk and went to the deck to smell fresh air. it was dark outside, the sea was clear and it was quite cool. Goldentree shivered while he tried hard not to think about his dream. He looked at the stars trying to find the star Samson told him that is always above pan isle.

And there on the dark and cold deck he prayed, he asked pan what to do next, he knew all the things are happening to fast. He asked pan if he can protect his family, he prayed for guidness about what to next. He prayed to pan that he will take away all his fears.

The rolling waves crashed against the side of the boat. The darkness filled every corner of the barracks. The sounds of men sleeping was the only noise in the room. It was a peaceful serene night with a calming effect. The sound of the rocking waves started to lull Goldentree back to sleep. He could barely keep his eyes open as his head hit the pillow once more.

Goldentree found himself in a beautiful galde surrounded by flowers. He was walking along the majestic landscape when a soft voice called out to him. It seemed to be a trick of the wind at first. The glade seemed to go on for several markers with no end in sight. Goldentree was alone in the vast field of flowers, yet a femine voice called out to him once more. "Goldentree..." Then it was gone again, like it had never been there. The inviting meadow rustled in the wind, when a calming effect spread over the elf. "Goldentree, go to Tel`Aranae Quessir and do my work. I want you to be one of my children. Go seek the man called Bokkan to show you the path."

The dream ended, yet the calming effect remained over the elf. He was once more on the ship with the rolling waves. He found it easy to return to sleep, which was much more relxing than earlier that night. When he drifted off once, a voice lulled him to sleep. Walk my path and find yourself.

Goldentree woke up up when the sun rose. He felt good after sleeping and his pain in his arms disappeared. He thought about what he dreamed last night. Was it pan talking to me?, He asked himself, And if it was him what was he talking about?. Goldentree was relaxed to hear that pan (he was quite sure it was him) wanted him to go to Tel Aranae Quessir and then find his path. I hope i can make it. And who is that man he talked about and what it have to do with me?, although he felt proud that pan wanted him to be one of his children, doubts crept into his ming, what if it was just a dream?. what if it meant nothing? . he continued to think about it while he layed in his bunk.

The next several days at seas came rather quickly to the mild elf. Harbin and Samson showed him how to work on the boat. Samson even took the time to show Goldentree a few more stars and constellations. Every night, Goldentree recieved the same dream about the voice in the meadow. It always told him the same thing, "Goldentree, go to Tel`Aranae Quessir and do my work. I want you to be one of my children. Go seek the man called Bokkan to show you the path." It happened every night followed by a calming sleep. Finally after several days of sailing, the ship pulled into the docks of Tel' Aranae Quessir. Samsom saw Goldentree off and even thanked him for the hard work. Harbin, Captain Franlille, and the first mate all said their goodbyes without real emotion. The young elf was free once more to do as he wished on the shores of Tel' Aranae Quessir.
