Jayla is just starting here to get a feel for her pc. The plan is to have her flee to the Citadel, but right now she works for Nerengaldo's estate...where maids disappear on a regular basis.

Basically: Cardiel Nerengaldo (youngest son) has nothing to look forward to. No inheritance, no real titles, no real importance. So he's building his own information network...and goes QUITE to extremes for that.

This means that from time to time people who know too much disappear...

Oh, and there is also rumours he's experimenting with human brains. Gosh, more disappearances.
