Comparative Mythology of Tazlure

Post by Scheherazade »

"Before the dawn of ages,
Before the beginning,
There was no time,
And all was Chaos and Darkness,
And the height of the heaven was not named,
And Tazlure beneath did not yet bear a name,
And no field was formed,
No marsh was to be seen;
When of the gods none had been called into being,
And none bore a name, and no destinies were ordained;
Then were the gods awoke in the midst of heaven,
Father Heaven and Mother Earth were called into being,
And with their awakening,
Time itself began.
And the Father Heaven and Mother Earth,
Looked out upon the Chaos and Darkness,
And a great yearning filled their hearts.
In their yearning, they made love.
And in that joining,
All things were made,
And this making brought encroaching light,
A light into the emptiness Chaos and Darkness of the Nether.
And From the hips of the Mother,
Sprang forth the other deities,
And they beheld in wonder,
The makings of those who beget them…
