Rosalie's heart fluttered as she saw the red rose. She needed no card to guess the sender. With a sigh of lovelorn regret that he once again would not come to her at gravetide, which no matter how sensible it was still grated on her heart, Rosalie brought the rose to her nose, allowing the scent to fill her senses. Soon, mio Amore, she promised herself, soon.
Tomorrow would be once again a busy day. Rosalie rose from her bed only to pick up her journal and put the rose with its tell tale Condotierre colors between the leaves of the book so as to preserve it forever. Then she quietly undressed and slipped into her bed, drifting of to dream strange dreams. Her last thought was not of Kaspar, but of Andolin Azarin. I need to go meet him on the morrow, supporting his candidacy becomes paramount she mused before the Aether took her.
