Oh man if I were Jacob I'd have punched Petros real hard right in the chin. Bam! "Some friend you are!" And then I would have drawn a symbol of the One on my hand and continued with something like "Here's what I think of your big dumb Dominicus" proceeding to slap my butt with it.

...Hehe, just kidding (I think), but seriously you guys are a great read, keep it up!

Not much luck yet on the job front, but I'm enjoying being involved in a really good thread. It's taking the edge off real life, especially now that Jacob has Tyrone's full 'attention'.

I've also been enjoying the fact that we've veered very close to Life of Brian scenes.

Jacob, of course, is not the messiah... ;-)

Jacob's just about getting to the stage where he realises he should stop digging and should start running. But then... meh... a couple of men in frocks... what harm could they do?

If it gets to it he'll begin recruiting members of the crowd to join the People's Front of King's Court.

I'm just waiting to let the crowd and Petros display their mood before Jacob does anything dramatic. But I might post a short reaction to Tyrone's rant shortly.

EDIT: Just seen Petros's post on the Tapestry thread - seems the Sinner's Square escapades are a key turning point in the young acolyte-to-be's life.

Shame he doesn't get to keep his dinner appointment with Jacob. There's always someone around to spoil the fun.

I love Life of Brian! It's actually my favorite of the Python flicks. Just hope, Jacob, that you don't get rescued by the Suicide Squad. Maybe you can hope for an animated UFO, though!

I so totally love the Life of Brian too!!! I love the STONING scene and when Brian was trying to write on the walls in Latin! It was so hilarious!!! I was taken back to my seminary days with conjugating latins!

Come to think of it, when Tyrone fist pointed at Jacob, I thought of the scene when Brian was preaching to the crowd, telling them what they could to live better lives, when the passerby stops and says "Who me? Thanks!"

So I just came to the realization that I (the real person) hates Petros (the PC), not the type of hate like I don't like playing this game is stupid, but instead the type of hate where it is really cool to play this PC cause he is such an ass. The current Petros is not what I had in mind when I started playing, but the PC just reacted to the situation around him, and you know what I hate what he is doing, but it is fun and intresting! Just thought I'd share.
