The largest known Temple to the Mother, this vast and round place shaped from a single tree is the heart of the city and dedicated primarily to the Goddess in her aspect as Laliel Saliu. It houses priests and priestesses as well as acolytes who come to study religion, healing and many types of magic.
The nave of the temple is round with a ceiling open to the stars and circled by branches interwoven to frame the moon and stars. A moasic floor shows all the phases of the Moon and branching out like spokes of a wheel are the various dormatories, lecture rooms, and gardens of the temple. The Avatar of the Mother resides in an inner sanctuary, and is an active presence in the temple and the city.

The Temple of Laliel Saliu, the Mother
Aftermath of the Night of Great Conflagration of Samheen 19
One of the edifices that survived the Night of the Great Fire, the largest known Temple to the Mother shaped from a single tree was the heart of the city and dedicated primarily to the Goddess in her aspect as Laliel Saliu. It housed not only the few remaining priests, priestesses, acolytes who wished to study religion, but their gates were now widely open, the Temple choking with refugees, homeless, wounded and those Adhiels without hope.
The nave of the temple was round with a ceiling open to the blue sky and circled by branches interwoven to frame the heavenly constellations. A moasic floor shows all the phases of the Moon and branching out like spokes of a wheel are the various dormatories, lecture rooms, and gardens of the temple. The Avatar of the Mother resides in an inner sanctuary, and was an active presence in the temple and the city.
